"Simply gorgeous! The octopus was fresh and tender. The dessert was yummy. Great service, Carlos is super friendly and gave us great recommendations regarding the food and desserts. Highly recommend it and would definitely visit the restaurant again. Excelente serviço. O Polvo à Lagareiro estava tenro e gostoso e a sobremesa simplesmente maravilhosa. O Carlos tratou-nos super bem e deu-nos boas recomendações em relação à comida. Voltarei com certeza e recomendo sem reservas."

"Awful attitude of owner, she told me she would do ‘nothing’ to improve after we waited 1hr 15mins and still got no food. I walked out her attitude stinks. Nice view here but the service is the worst I’ve received this holiday. I don’t review much, only if places are truly terrible service."

"Absolutely awful experience, had an entire jug of red sangria dropped on my lap and then forced to pay for it! Argumentative staff were rude when we asked to not have to pay for the liquid that was literally in my lap. Expensive white trousers ruined and no one offered to help would review 0* if i could"

"One of the worst places I ever been to. First time it was closed, opening times wrong! So we walked there for nothing. We really tried ot again some days later and the food was really very disapponinting. And you pay way to much for the quality of food you are getting. My advice; stay better far far away from this place."

"We ate at the Rib Eye Steak House twice during our weeks stay in Alvor, once on New Year’s Eve and again on our last night. The food was delicious, and a reasonable price, the courses were spaced out and you were not rushed. The staff were all extremely hard working going out of their way to help and advise you if you asked a question. A really fabulous find. Thank you"
