"The Alte Schmiede was recommended at our hotel, and though it was busy the night we were there, they seated us right away and quickly brought drinks and took our orders. We asked for the "small" gyros plate, which included sliced spit-roasted gyros meat, salad, fries, and a generous amount of tsatsiki sauce for the meat. There was more than enough food, and we could barely finish our portions. The "regular" plate must be gigantic! Food and drink prices were a good value, and a complimentary shot of Ouzo rounded out the meal."

"Es ist eigentlich alles, wie man es vom "Kroaten" bzw. früheren "Jugo" gewohnt ist: große fleischlastige Portionen, rustikale Einrichtung, günstige Preise.Das Lokal neben dem Dorfsportplatz ist gleichzeitig auch Vereinskneipe der Fußballer, entsprechend kommt ordentlich was auf den Tisch. Aber bei meinen bisherigen Besuchen war stets auch die Qualität ok, nicht nur die Quantität. Wenn man schon hören kann, wie die Schnitzel in der Küche geklopft werden... Sonderwünsche (z.B. nur Krautsalat statt gemischtem Salat) werden auch jederzeit gerne ausgeführt.Parkplätze gibt es genug, selbst wenn die neben dem Restaurant mal voll sein sollten, ist auf der anderen Straßenseite ein großer Verbrauchermarkt."
