"We really love coming to Volare! It is our go to place for Birthdays in San Antonio. Go on Wednesday night they have live music that is excellent! Also we have had Lotus as our waitress on numerous occasions and she is simply excellent. So let me cue you in on what to get..... First order a bottle of Bocelli wine, an excellent chianti from Tuscany and yes it is Andre Bocelli's label! Then order yourself a Margherita pizza, superb with fresh basil and mozzarella as your appetizer. Then order yourself a Veal (Vitello) Parmigiana, portion is HUGE! My wife loves the Eggplant (Melanzane) Parmigiana. Both dishes come with a side of pasta. Then finish it all off with a Cappuccino and a Tiramisu."

"I think I should mention that I am a very simple person to please and I usually only enjoy places that I enjoy very much. But this place was mediocre in almost every respect. I felt like I was wasted my money. The beer was not good and the food was overpriced and uninteresting. In addition, we arrived 10 minutes before the end of the happy hour and refused to give us drinks at a reduced price because we arrive too close to the cutoff. This place is in a wonderful location and could be a San Antonio hidden gem. It only misses the brand. My advice is to go to Stella or Halcyon only."

"Our waiter didn't look like he wanted to be there. It wasn't friendly. We hardly have a salad in the bowl and I ordered soup and salad...prices are outraged for the amount of food we were given. Probably can't be back. Our bill for soup and salad My daughter had lasagna and a part spaghetti. My husband had a record of spaghetti. $75.00 WOW! Plus top"
