"Nothing like the Facebook page, service was slow and very unorganised, ended up getting our order wrong and took mins for meals to come (we were only ones in at this point). Chips are not chunky/ home cooked like the photos and you get about with a meal total. Not as expected and wouldn’t recommend."

"After several very good pizzas, I finally took the dive and ordered a full hot-shot palmo; it would be rude not to give one. it will probably be my last; not for any bad reasons, but only because it was pretty damn big! absolutely tasty but, served with an equally large part of the chips and a side of the salats that in contrast to some were neither warm nor limp; in the did it was both fresh and delicious, which was an additional bonus. pizza is pretty good. parmo was excellent. my seemingly shrinking lean capacity left the side; only half for me next time round. cheers chaps!"

"We've been visiting Borges for over 20 years for meals out with the family, but haven't visited in a couple of years since before covid. The restaurant looks exactly the same! and the menu still contained old favourites the meat kebabs which are served with a sparkler. The menu is huge with LOTS of choice. There is a very small cocktail menu, which could be improved upon. A meal for 9 adults came to nearly £300! I think we ordered 5 starters to share and 5 desserts to share, plus maybe 7 8 alcoholic drinks plus a couple of soft drinks and a couple of coffees, so not bad value. Main meals were all around £15 each I think. For spending so much money, and possibly because we never eat out anymore, I expected something more somehow. The restaurant is very small so you always feel a bit squashed in as it is always busy, luckily this time we were up against the wall in the corner so had space to move around the high chair and for our big baby bag etc. Unfortunately the changing facilities aren't great, standard in that it's basically just the bare minimum of a changing table attached to the wall. But poor in that the changing table is in the women's toilets so not sure how single dad would make this work? Plus you're hemmed in by the large sink on one side and then a loud hand dryer at the foot of the table so every time you move you set off the loud dryer which upsets the baby even more! There's nowhere to put your bag while you're changing baby so you can grab clean clothes, more wipes etc, so I put my bag in the sink big mistake! as did not realise tap is automatic so basically my bag was soaked through my the time I realised, so much for clean clothes to change baby into!! this is our first kid and this isn't something I would ever have given a second's thought to before, but Borge could and should really do better here. We all enjoyed our meals and our drinks, service was friendly and fast, offering more drinks but not being intrusive. For me, because of the poor changing room facilities (and an upset baby with an upset belly) this put a dampener on our evening and spoilt the whole experience for my husband and I, who were stressed by the upset baby. We had to leave early so we could change the baby properly and left the rest of the family to enjoy leisurely coffees and desserts."

"Eat here half a dozen times, last time before three weeks before eating on covid to help the half price deal. with my local mammut I live south. fish always freshly fried, slightly broken, much solid white meat. chips could be a bit more crisp, they tend to be on the soggy withdrawal page. but great value, put them for take-away prices, some good meal offers, easy but fast friendly service. what is not to like, long it may be an institution of stockton!"

"Admittedly we were a little late but I am a wheelchair user and it takes a bit of time to get me sorted by the time we arrived they had given our table to someone else. They knew about the wheelchair a I told them...when I booked. Not very disabled friendly. We left and went somewhere else, we won't be returning."

"Fantastic home made food very cheap with a friendly and professional service offered for everyone. we use this caffe regularly and our little pooch loves it too and is always made welcome as well as other good behave dogs. because this little caffe changed the hands. After having brought our little pooch there for 2 years, he is not allowed now. the poor little guy still keeps on the door when we are over. people who used it regularly before the change of the hands no longer go. food not the same standard or service is also not favorable. I'm sorry, people"

"Myself and my family visited this cafe yesterday, but unfortunately could not believe the absolutely bad service we received. I have visited the cafe in the past, which I have to say is very mediocre, but passable. Nevertheless, on ordering our food, I asked for a childs meal+drink, which she went off to get the drink, then came back to me, to which I asked for a dinner+cup of tea, then proceeded to give me a ticket number, went to the tea machine, as I still talking saying I haven 't finished yet, came back and then I asked how much some chips were to go with a breakfast, she said £1.20 for a bowl, to which I replied is that the same price for a few chips on the plate, she added yes, they just come in a bowl, so I then replied that 's okay then . We eventually received the childs meal, my dinner, bowl of chips, AsI had been in previously a few days ago, ordered a breakfast then too, which took forever had to ask where it was,?? I just thought they obviously take a while to do it,but as the chips were getting cold I asked the young girl where the breakfast was, she went off to ask, the next thing we saw was the blonde woman practically storming down the aisle to us, literally started shouting at me saying I didn 't order the breakfast,even though I had a whole conservation about the chip saga, she then admitted I asked about the chips with the breakfast, hence contridicating herself!!?? My daughter then said it doesn 't matter as were pushed for time, then started with an absolutely disgusting attitude towards me daughter, we were gobsmacked!!! Could not believe what had just happened!!. On my previous visit, the same woman had a terrible dig at an elderly couple whom complained of a cold draught to which they moved tables, myself my friend was also witness to this, as the things on the ceiling were wafting about, she again very abruptly said we don 't have any aircon, your wrong, it must be the draught from the door!!! bearing in mind, no one came through at the time, I thought then, was there any need for her attitude?? I thought she must be having a bad day, but felt sorry for the couple. Hence, to say after enduring this latest fiasco, please be warned Enter at you peril!! This person needs to require some good customer service skills asap, or she,all have no customer 's."

"Pizza Hut is fantastic! This branch is situated on Teesside Park, but away from the shops it's in the separate leisure area, near Hollywood Bowl. There is almost always a queue to get in here, but you don't generally have to wait too long. It has been recently refurbished and is really nice inside. They do serve other items besides pizza, but when we go there we always have the pizza because it's so fantastic! Sometimes it seems as if you wait a long time for the food, but the staff are always very friendly and pleasant. It's quite a noisy place, so fine for families or young people, not so good for a sophisticated or romantic evening!"

"Eating was great, very enjoyed my first parmo. we were on Friday night and were not too busy. the tables were however very close together, would definitely be back to the owner to reconfigure the room so that people are not so close, it was at the point where it was a little unpleasant. the staff was very attentive and helpful."
