"Came for a late evening dinner at a familiar location I grew up visiting.Happy to see some changes to the menu finally. We had the endless shrimp items. Loved the items we ordered. Sweet chili shrimp, grilled shrimp, garlic shrimp and Island jumbo coconut shrimp, and Mediterranean lobster tails. All were good. The coconut shrimp was my personal least favorite, but that’s a personal taste preference.Meals were prepared quickly and served hot and with a smile. Our server Pavlos was exceptional. Attentive, polite friendly, engaging and familiar with the menu to make great suggestions.I took the photo of the add on shrimp as I forgot to take ahead of time.Only observation is the lobster tails keep getting smaller."

"The best part of the experience at Red Lobster is the serving staff. Narry a complaint in this department. We started out with one gentleman and he was replaced by a nice lady who did a wonderful job. Positive, engaged, and very professional. I suspect with the pace and how busy the place was serving staff have to be good and it is a testament to the management that can hire and retain such staff. I am sorry I did not remember their names as I would love to give them the credit that is due to them.The Red Lobster is popular. Perhaps well-deserved and the food is, well, competent. And I think that from their demographic and marketing this is the ideal result and I do not begrudge them of this.The thing is that this restaurant is so formulaic and screams "I am part of a 700 strong chain of restaurants and you can be assured of competence!"But the interior needs to be updated. The noise of the patrons is problematic. No romantic dinners here.We arrived at 3:30 pm, in part to the popularity of the restaurant and when we left at 5:30 pm people in the line were being told that the wait was 2 hours.Take you money, hit up Trip Advisor, and live a little.You certainly won't go wrong at Red Lobster, but its not much living."
