"Great Ramen and agreeable prices, large portions, and good service. We had the Black something Ramen (pork), and a steak Ramen. The only reason it is not stars is that I prefer to go to a place at least twice before giving it such a high rating."

"Waited at least 5 minutes for maitre d to direct us to appropriate restaurant. Bad start there. When we reached Halloumi we were told all ordering was done through QR codes, which included a 5% service charge. We stumbled through the online ordering (pre show menu) and half our menu arrived 5 minutes later. This made me think they were warming up pre-made dishes, an idea which was confirmed when I tasted the houmous which was completely tasteless. The pita was unappealing. I don’t think we have ever sent food back at a restaurant but this was disgusting. To their credit, the waiting staff apologised and offered a replacement. My wife said that if the replacement was as bad as the original we didn’t want it. We were offered other alternatives such A free drink. The gyros, when they arrived (before the calamari incidentally) also showed no evidence of flavour and consisted of big chunks of chicken/pork wrapped up in a thick pita roll. The overwhelming taste was the pita rather than the meat. Their outdoor drinking area was partially enclosed with a permanent roof. I’m not sure of the regulations but I thought people were not allowed to smoke or vape in such a situation; they were doing both. We spoke to a staff member about this who told us smoking was allowed in the area and offered to get a supervisor to discuss this. No one showed. So if you want bland inedible food at an expensive price, if you want to pay (including tip) before you’ve ever seen the food, or the service, and if you want something approaching service from two of goodness knows how many staff are on duty, then Cranside Kitchen Halloumi is for you. If you want a decent meal, stay well away from this place."

"From the many Japanese restaurants I tried in glasgow, I was both disappointed by a plucked walk. when I went to dinner for the first time and went to lunch for the second time. I was particularly disappointed with eating. with the amount they charge, I really expected to eat at least half decent. I didn't know how expensive they were until I paid attention to the prices. I ordered the tofu teriyaki, but without the soße only a few spiced as soon as I bited in them, it was very blanching."

"We have ordered from this restaurant for years and the food has always been excellent! However, tonights meal was, mediocre to say the best. We couldn't wait to get the Spider roll, our favourite for many years and always delicious, well, was always delicious, tonights tasted of...nothing! It was so bland, what has happened there? The Hasomaki didn't have enough seaweed to go around the whole thing and keep it together. This is not what we have come to expect from these people and we hope it is a temporary thing due to the virus."
