"Great food and service. It is very expensive and the servings are very small. I also felt that our waiter seemed irritated that we did not order more food. Overall, the food was very tasty, but be ready to spend $200 if you want to not leave hungry."

"Authentic Japanese cuisine! I had the fish tempura, chicken catsu curry and shrimp empura. All were excellent and it was worth going back. Also good customer service and food were quickly prepared. A great culinary experience."

"Best restaurant in Hawaii, maybe even the whole US. The staff was incredible. I mentioned that I preferred warm seafood starters to cold ones, so the chef made a special app just for us which was amazing. (Pictured). The drunken lobster is a must have. We also had the a5 wagyu starter which is seared tableside and the famous Micheal Mina tartar which is made from tuna sources at the Honolulu fish market. SO GOOD! I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but the presentation and taste on the pineapple fosters was really good. The wine list doesn’t have as much age as I’d love in general, but it is quite extensive. The sommelier helped me find a bottle that paired well with the fish and steak entrees."
