"I dined here with my friend last night Pre-theatre at 6 PM. The ambiance is lovely with pale blue walls that emphasized a nautical theme. The tables are not crowded together and we sat in a comfortable table with a white table cloth for 4 even though we were only 2. There is a separate bar section. The food was very good. We shared a delicious crab cake as an appetizer and then my friend had branzino with well seasoned spinach and a mix of other vegetables. I had salmon which was delicious also with a mix of vegetables. We shared a dessert which was limoncello and mascarpone cake with whipped cream topping. It was scrumptious ! It was a lovely dinner and I highly recommend it."

"Beyond wonderful!. angelo’s was recommended by a family member who knows nyc and knows Italian food. how could we be wrong? we have not! it was busy when we arrived at dinner on 1/23/15, and yet we had reservations and waited only a few minutes. the maitre d' was busy, but very pleasant, in a conversation with us. When he sat down, I stumbled on the step that went into the back, and spilled my white wine over him and me. I was destroyed and apologized. he assured me that it was not a problem and joked that he was glad that it was not a red wine! he sat us and then brought me another glass of wine.<br br/>Dinner was incredible! we shared the calamari. the teig was beautiful and light, and it was delicious. my man ordered the bouillabaisse that was super. my calfsian was also divine.<br/> on the way out I went to the maitre d and thanked him and told him that we are happy to see him next time. he kissed me on both side and gave me a hug! then he did the same for my husband!<br br/> this meal and experience was the beginning of one of our best weekend trips to nyc!"
