"I have eaten here a couple times but never thought it was worthy of a review. This time, it exceeded all expectations hence the 4 star rating. The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 is because the waiter asked us to pay the bill before our food came out because it is a new policy. I asked the waiter if we could pay later as my partner was drinking and wanted to order more drinks to avoid confusion, but she was hesitant so we just paid straight away.<br/ <br/ I initially ordered the watermelon juice but the waiter said it was unavailable (even though I already paid for it) so I ordered the ice mint and lime soda instead. I didn't like the drink. She charged me $7 for the watermelon juice but the mint soda was only $5.50. She only realised the difference in price after I pointed it out and returned $1.50.<br/ <br/ The spring rolls were fresh, salt and pepper squid was full of flavour and had just the right amount of spice. The Angus Beef was also fresh and delicious but there was not enough meat compared to noodles... other than that, I can't complain.<br/ <br/ Will definitely be coming back, next time I'm at The Star."

"Terrible customer service skills from the owner needs to work on how he speaks and manages customers. Know this time of year is challenging by there still is a way to behalf. Routing tables without aggression would be a perfect start to his re-training. The waiter with the moustache should train the owner as his quality of service would have given a five star rating. "Worst service I 've encountered during the simple process of ordering coffee. Went up to the counter to order and the barista, Darshika, was busy on her phone txting whilst inconveniencing herself by actually doing her job in making someone else 's coffee. I stood and waited for almost 10 seconds before she eventually asked what 'she could get me ' while continuing to keep her head down and look at her phone. I didn 't respond at first because she didn 't even look at me when she mumbled the question. Trudged around with arrogance and not once looked up to greet other customers that approached the counter, while the entire time keeping her phone in hand. Rude, arrogant and clearly didn 't want to be there. Not the sort of employee anyone would want."

"Was our favourite Thai takeaway once.Delivery was always quick and an added little extra touch with a kinder surprise chocolate.However tonight the food was average and the kinder surprise was 7 years past its use by date 13/6/13Luckily our grandson alerted us to its weird taste before he ate the lot. Not the surprise he was hoping for."
