"Top of our list right now after a year+ of exploring KC after moving from Houston. We coincidentally met chef Brandon Brumback at a J. Rieger barrel dinner the weekend prior and loved what he did, so it was no surprise that this was a home run.The ambience is fantastic from the moment you walk in the building. The restaurant is cozy and romantic. Staff are friendly and helped with anything we asked for recommendations on.We ordered the beef carpaccio and Caesar salads to start. Both were fantastic, the salad dressing being perfectly balanced with flavorful, crispy yet tender croutons.Half a dozen oysters were next. They were fresh and delicious. I didn’t totally care for the mignonette but I’m super picky about that, I don’t hold it against them.This is the first nice restaurant in KC where I’ve seen a legit cacio e pepe, so I had to order it. It exceeded my expectations and I ate every bit of it.My date ordered the filet and green beans. Both were PERFECTLY cooked and the duck confit is to die for with the beans.Cocktails are a blend of traditional and creative; our favorite ended up being the old fashioned.We opted for the goat cheese cheesecake dessert, which was definitely different but good as a more savory finisher.Take a look around the museum after, it’s a great all in one date spot and you will not be disappointed with the quality. We will be back!"

"My visit to The Gardener’s Nosh for lunch was a disappointment. The food (Buddha Bowl) looked good and also tasted great – but the service was a disaster. After 20 minutes we took care of the card to order the waiter after another 20 minutes, if he had come to us, I doubt. Then it took so long until the food was actually there. Even the payment was difficult, we finally went straight into the cash register. The ambience is not true either: the music is clearly too loud, the restaurant makes an unhindered, tasty impression. No place where you want to stay longer and no place I will visit again."

"I'm not really sure what all the hype is. The first I went, I was very excited because I referred there. I even gave a great review because I made the mistake and name dropped, therefore was roped into a lot pomp and circumstance and niceties. Welp! Turns out, the biscuits are not good. They crumbled everywhere and are dry. It was almost noon and no lunch available?! This was 6/29/2020. I just find it difficult to not be truthful because after all, we were treated like we were bothering her too, so Thanks Lady! I live in the area, but I'm not from it, so I'm not a sheep. Bah!"

"On the fourteen menu you will find a good vegan selection. on the new menu everything is declared vegan. Eat tastes beautiful and portions are well prepared. they also offer vegan milkshakes. info: the Falafel tabletop is also vegan explained, but does not contain vegan halloumi, so simply they say without halloumi and then it is vegan. I have already said to the owner and he will soon change that"

"I gave the service 2 stars because on the waitress dropped the food and went without saying what it was. we tried to call her back, but she didn't even make eye contact before she left. we had to advise who eats, it was a matter of origin when we asked another waitress, they said they were not safe. we appreciate it was busy, but when I asked for more soße, I thought it would come with my meal. I asked 2 other waiters and it never came. One of the people I ordered with 2 mosquito tails ordered. they never came and when he asked another waitress, they said they had run out and offered koks. I feel like if we had never asked another waitress, he would have been charged for something he would never have received, or he would not have said they had run out. that was nice to eat."

"DREADFUL! Ordered our food and it didn't come for nearly two hours at which point the staff told us we should just leave. Still had to pay for our drinks but at least got a free tequila shot. Safe to say I will never be going back."

"The restaurant should not be taking reservations. The menu is nonexistent. We were the only table seated at on a Friday night when the casino had record attendance due to the Barrett Jackson car show.Drinks took minutes and we were the only guests. I felt like I was on an episode of candid camera. The experience was a joke. Shame on Open Table for having them on the site.The waitress was great"
