"Yummy stop en route to the ferry with Guinness on tap! We had reservations for the 3pm ferry and checked out of our Victoria hotel at 11:30am. So we stopped by Stonehouse for lunch. We had a large breakfast and no one was particularly hungry so we ordered the spinach salad and tomato/basil pizza for the four of us. Food was yummy. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they had Guinness on tap. I had a beautifully poured Black and Gold (Guinness and Strongbow cider). Our server was helpful and kind. I will definitely return. This is a sit down restaurant so I recommend it for coming from the ferry or if you have plenty of time to get to your ferry. If you are in a rush or don't have reservations or expect a long line at the ferry; try stopping by another time. Also, there is accessible parking in the upper lot with a path to the restaurant. If driving to the ferry terminal after you will have to double back just as Google maps shows. It may be possible to walk to the ferry terminal from here I will update this review if I learn more."

"Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here, the staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The food has always been great, highly recommend the sambuca prawns. I look forward to any chance I get to go to the stone house pub. It is a gem of the island."

"The place is beautiful, but you cannot call this restaurant Italian when the chef is not Italian and doesn’t know how to cook pasta. As Italian person, when I go to enjoy dinner in this beautiful restaurant I respect to feel Italian atmosphere or at least to have an Italian chef. I ordered fettuccine alla marina. I got tagliatelle tomatoes sauce. I asked to the waitress if my order was correct she said yes. Then I explained to her that those are tagliatelle and not linguine , and in Italian marinara it’s served with sea food in the sauce . But I got just basic tomato sauce tagliatelle. For 37$. No Thank you!!"
