"Had lunch here yesterday! Location...conveniently located, parking available in the area Seating...due to COVID I'm only dining on patios. The patio is cute but small so make a reservation if you want to sit out there! Food...we had the pear and arugula pizza, the pepperoni...and onion pizza and a ceasar salad. Everything was delicious and well priced! Staff...our server was fantastic! We will be going here again and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat in the area!!"

"Baldwin Street is a great little enclave of restaurants of varying types of cuisine. Some of the restaurants are very good and have been there for years. Others are mediocre and seem to change over every couple of years.Bocca on Baldwin is a good restaurant, not amazing, but a reasonable place to consider if your looking for "Italian style" food.Some of us had the salads with added chicken or shrimp. They were a good meal sized salad and tasted great. Others had pizza. They were the classic plate sized pizzas. Most people would be able to eat the whole thing, but for others a better idea might be to share a pizza and order a salad to share. The pizzas were good. If the crust was less crispy and there was a little less cheese on them, they would have been very good. We'll be sure to ask next time.We also ordered a few appetizers. The grilled calamari was one of them. The texture of the calamari was good and not chewy, but there was too much sauce on them. The flavour of the sauce wasn't totally balsamic because there were also olives and sun dried tomatoes in the sauce. It was a good flavour ... Just too much of it.We didn't order dessert or wine, so I can't comment on them.Over all, Baldwin Street has a lot of Asian inspired restaurants so if you're something else, Bocca is a good place to go."

"Disappointing. Waited 20 minutes for beers. Appetizer charcuterie was good, but arrived at minute 50. Mains arrived 25 minutes later. Tartare was very good. Japanese chicken thigh was completely unseasoned (not 'under, 'un' like zero), as was the batter. Young waiter was green and perhaps in the weeds, but trailed by a trainee or high-end bus person who missed nothing and is a keeper.So food execution is completely random, and perhaps aggravated by a culture that seems biased towards serving drinks and not food. I've no problem with that, but don't understand the apparent food ambitions.So we'll likely not return, but because of the charcuterie and tartare I'm hopeful it might someday become more consistent on the food front."

"The worst restaurant in Etobicoke (foodwise. service was great). The food is extremely bland. No flavour on calamari, veal, and, fillet mignon. The medium rare fillet mignon was hard, chewy, and well-done. The tiramisu was hard. These are the worst food I have ever had in etobicoke. Hands down. Do not trust the reviews. Those are clearly faked."

"This place is a Toronto gem. If you love live music your time in Toronto won't be complete without a visit to Hugh's Room. They have a great new menu and the wait staff are always friendly. Reservations are easy to make on line. The line up of performers is sterling. Even if you don't recognize who is playing on any given night you can be sure they will be world class."

"I ordered takeout from this restaurant yesterday, and was very excited to try the food after seeing the great reviews. I ordered online through their website, and received the confirmation that my food would be ready in half an hour. However, after walking there to pick up my food (in the rain), I found the door locked and the restaurant closed. I double-checked the hours and saw that it was supposed to be open. There was no note on the door either. I had not received any communications from the restaurant that it was closed. It has been a day and I have not received an e-mail or follow-up at all. I live and work in the area, so I am pretty disappointed that this will not become a new place to go. I would not recommend take-out, or just dropping by to eat, without verifying by phone that they are actually open when their hours state."

"A bit off the beaten track in the College Wellesley Village area is this gem of a restaurant. The vibe is definitely old school, but in the best possible way. The service is excellent; attentive without hovering; friendly without being overly familiar; and missing NOTHING that...will enhance your experience. The food was likewise great: well prepared; well presented and well balanced. A fabulous meal and a fabulous experience; worth every penny."

"Good food, good service and reasonably priced. Carpaccio, polipo and salad starters were tasty. Pasta dishes of pescatore and gnocchi were ok too. Fish dishes were equally good. Attentive service despite being quite busy. Lemon torta with berries for dessert was also ok. Well priced casual meal."
