"We went to Shiv to pick up some dishes to add to a Diwali feast last night. I ordered butter chicken, tandoori chicken and a couple of chicken tikkas (bring me all the poultry). There was a few little containers of mint sauce thrown into the bag and there was sure a lot of heat packed into them. The tell tale red flecks should have been the indication of some sort of spices in what I had assumed was a cooling yoghurt based sauce. Too hot for me. Also too hot for me was the tikka. Luckily their was a raita on the table to temper the mouth burning sensation. I sampled the butter chicken too which had an interesting sauce. Not anywhere near as creamy as I’m used to (I like to tell myself it was a healthy butter chicken) with quite a strong tomatoey flavour which I actually quite enjoyed. It appeared to be a family run operation doing mostly takeaway but there is some seating available. Not a bad little spot but I personally prefer the milder options down the road"

"Ends here on a Tuesday night when there are not many other vegan options open nearby. Was surprised to find a whole “vegan corner” on their menu with not only 2 but 10 vegan curries plus a selection of vegan ducks, bread and pages. It is a shame that they do not list vegan options on their online menu or the delivery apps. I have the vegan chili-choop with delicate Mock chicken stall in a sweet and sour chilli sauce with capsicum and onion. It was served on one of these “sizzling” dishes and the sauce had a little caramelized. Had some chili too. Also shared the baingan bhartha and aloo saag classic dishes both well made. The restaurant is clean, casual and beautifully furnished with bright fluorine lighting so not a date destination, but perfect for a relaxed pickup process with friends or family. Service was friendly and it is simply beautiful to order clearly marked vegan options with confidence."

"The staff were very friendly, the restaurant was busy but the food was terrible. I have to say it is the worst curry I have eaten in Australia.The lamb was inedible it was so tough, there were a ridiculous amount of inedible spices in the sauce and both our curries tasted the same despite being different.In fairness to the restaurant they did not charge us for the curries when we complained, but we were really disappointed. We both love curries and this was a shocker. Hopefully this was a one off for them."

"Great place to order from. The kofta is mind-blowing. The other dishes are also excellent. The ambience isn't the greatest but a great place to order from. It's available on uber eats, or you could just call them up for placing an order. They've also got Indian beers which are not the easiest to find. Good place for indian dessert as well."
