"Just loved it, all 5 of us! The food was so good, huge variety, the staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They gave us little tips as first timers which was appreciated. We loved being in our own little booth. The cooking paper was changed regularly, plates cleared and everything you needed to enjoy your dining was provided. We all really enjoyed the meal, the variety, and will definitely return. Parking in the Wilson car park was an easy walk, and not expensive. It was a great find!!!"

"Really nice place and good food! The place is not cramped, has nice decorations and is pretty clean. Ordered the roast duck on rice, 'curry puffs ', duck feet, and pork of noodles. Price matches big food servings and it taste good but after awhile it starts to get salty.... 2 people could easily half a dish if they 're not super hungry. Some items on menu such as curry puffs turned out to just be samosas that you can buy in bulk which was pretty disappointing. Would come back to try their other dishes"

"We just wanted a cold glass of bubbles and a few hot chips a day to celebrate some special news. After we walked around Takapuna without aim to find something open and with a decent wine list we stumbled over Joe's. Joe is the best host, the wine was cold and the hot chips were amazingly soft in the middle with a beautiful crispy outside, also with the skins on! What a great find and what a great man! Will definitely go back when we're in the area! Thank you, Joe."

"Went there with my mates... i was not hoping any restaurant like this in auckland ...<br/>I was a very nice evening there for us ... 1st we try their samosa which was super delicious and then we ordered their traditional dish dal bhati and some kulcha it was lovely. Service was also very good I highly recommended this place to everyone . <br/>Thankyou Mithaiwala for your hospitality"
