"We decided to try The Royal Punjab Restaurant for takeaway, curious of how it fairs compared to other Indian restaurants. The answer was a simple, no it doesn't! We ordered a garlic naan, a cheese naan, a beef korma, a Royal Nawabi chicken, and some rice. The meals were so underwhelming! The garlic naan had hardly any garlic, and the cheese naan had no cheese that could be found. They were also overcooked. I may be wrong, but I feel naan bread should not be crispy like a papadums. The beef Korma was rather dry and there was not much meat. "Samara Boman Sarah Danckert Cheryl Murphy<br/ <br/ Spring rolls for entree were over cooked. Rice paper duck rolls were very flavor some. <br/ Pad Thai was very tasty. Roast duck and tamarind sauce was well spiced but was delivered almost cold. Duck was quite chewy. Venue was suitable but nothing fancy. Service was friendly but tardy. Maybe just a tad above average experience."

"My friend and I went to Sultans Kitchen for dinner on a Wednesday night at 6:30. We brought a bottle of wine and had heard good things so we were looking forward to it. We got in and it was almost entirely empty so the older man who was the server and seemed to be in charge said we could sit wherever. I'll attempt to be brief; the man serving us was the major letdown. He chucked some wine glasses on the table and said "You're okay to open it?" as he walked away. My friend and I tried to have a quick catch up over wine but within 15 minutes he had brusquely come back twice, the second time rudely telling us to look at the menu now. Considering the poor service we assumed the $20 curries must come with rice so as to not be totally overpriced; we asked him and he laughed and smirkingly told us they didn't. The curries came out and were honestly shockingly small, the bowl was barely the size of my hand. But I will say the food was good, and I did enjoy the actual meal aspect of the experience. Still, there are more than enough delicious Indian restaurants around Brisbane that I won't be going back."

I have eaten at Vege Rama as part of a dining group and by myself ... the food is always fresh and delicious and I consider the food prices at Vege Rama are moderate given it's location in upmarket West End and the quality and quanity of food served at the restaurant ... the staff at Vege Rama are friendly and helpful with food choices"
