"Sad to place this review today after a horrible experience. First, I would like to start by saying that we have been longtime and loyal customers of this business-supporting them DAILY for years-especially throughout COVID uncertainty when they were in danger of shutting down. We currently order from them at least weekly to continue supporting this business and the staff we felt were like family. Today we ordered breakfast for the whole family, but one order was missing. We called to advise and they insisted that the order was included, basically calling us liars, despite one of our children sitting without food. After speaking to the manager and explaining the situation, we only received an offer to credit a FUTURE order and ZERO apology or empathy. Their delivery driver could not deliver the missing order either because we were too far despite being 10 min away even in traffic. Bottom line, the food is great-but don 't expect any issues to be corrected or any attempt to make them right by the rude, unprofessional and unfit management. We will NEVER order again or recommend family and friends."

"I hate to give such a bad review, but it's about the principle. Roxana from the beginning had a bad attitude and acted as if we would disturb her. I should have ordered the chicharrons and clay stones better than it looked like it was burned and sitting there all day. When we tried, it was absolutely not edible and I am Cuban so I know. When I tried to return the stuff she said she could?t. I asked for manager and she said there was no manager. I asked about the name and she said she couldn't give me that information. Sadly, don't go to this. I never had a question about 87 and SW 8. Service and food were not acceptable."

"Yum!. Never had anything I didn't like from this place! The breakfasts are awesome and for the price, not worth turning on your stove to cook. The croquetas are the best! Even had food catered by them at a party and it was great!"

"What I had was a simple breakfast as it was as perfect as what my mom would have made for me. You can tell that they prepare food made with love, everything is presented quite well. The Cuban sandwich was what we came for. We had watched video after video stating that this is the best Cuban sandwich around. The public was correct! Incredible sandwich, Incredible people, incredible service."

"Ordered pupusas de maíz of two kinds: revueltas y queso. La pupusa de queso was almost inedible, with the cheese to dough ratio being off and the entire pupusa essentially being melty greasy cheese, and the masa tasting like it had not been seasoned with salt. The pupusa revuelta, however, blew me away. I have not had a pupusa that good in years. The beans were cooked and seasoned amazingly and the pupusa itself wasn’t overly greasy, and had perfect texture.The inside vibe of the place is a little bit sleepy, but they do have tons of really cute decorations and souvenirs for sale, so that’s a plus. Their curtido was decently seasoned but lacked oregano, and the salsa they served on the side was not as fresh, spicy, and flavorful as I would’ve preferred. This place has earned a good review with that pupusa revuelta alone, though."

"My ice latte was too sweet. My BLT Turkey sandwich I waiting like 17 min. When I come to cashier ask why so long ? She just saying sorry the kitchen is busy… SO before I ordering something from the kitchen let people know the kitchen is busy WHY I have to wait sandwich 20 min at 10am."

"Hello good afternoon, my husband and I are visiting from New York Miami for the 5th time and we decided to come to eat at this restaurant. It turns out that we arrive they tell us not to sit where we want, nobody smiles at all, the waitress Jamie does not tell us about the specials or welcomes us, I ask her what the price of the avocado salad is and she told me but how stunned by my question. Look up the daily specials since you didn't tell me whatthey were or what their sides were. He did not offer any drinks or suggest dishes or drinks. Within 5 minutes of bringing the plate of food, the beans were very bad, the chicken breast had a peculiar smell and which was not to my liking. Idecide to try it and indeed, the grilled breast was burnt, it seems that they had done it well on the dirty plate, the beans tasted like they were two days old. What's more, he gave him the plate, I tell him why I'm giving it back, hedoesn't offer me anything, he offered me something after having put the bill on the table. When really I was already disgusted with the service. On top of that my husband d code leaving him a $5 tip when he didn't deserve it. My name isIvan Perez. I am Puerto Rican. I know Latin food very well. I am the general manager of the banquet and restaurant department for Marriott international airport in Times Square, NYC for 15 years. And the service and/or presentation is lousyand was horrible. There was no presentation label. Entry of dishes offers or suggestions. There was no smile and much less an apology. I can offer you something additional and provide suggestions. Finally, when we are leaving, she makes acomment to the girl who is in front at the cash register and when she saw that we were walking to the exit door, she looked at us and remained silent. "I visited this bakery couple of weeks ago, I literally just wanted something simple like an empanada and a coffee. While waiting in line I saw the empanadas which looked good and realized they also had tequeños on their menu; so I ordered the Spinach Empanada and a Cafe con Leche. They didn't have the spinach empanada but I decided to go for the tequeños; however, they didn't have any either. The cashier offered a Spinach Croqueta but didn't look too fresh and was pretty greasy. So I ended up getting a Cheese Pastelito which was ok but tasted like not the best quality of food. The coffee was good tho."
