"Today visited with my parents, husband and teen son for a afternoon tee, absolutely amazing selection of tasty. the table was beautifully set with fine china and pointed tablecloths. the service was warm and welcoming and felt relaxed with tea/coffee plentiful. we started with one. a lot of sandwiches, a selection of suppe and a hearty cake stand, the pastry cake with pate, vol au vents, mini cornish pasties with melt in mouth pasties and sweet quiche. all were homemade to perfection. then came the sweet tasty and we were spoiled for the choice! there were mini-trifles, strawberry teas, skorn with sawne, meningues, cheesecake, macarons and chocolate eclairs all decorated with fresh fruits. the work that must have gone into everything was plentiful for a little caffe. we will definitely come back!"

"My boyfriend and I went today for an afternoon tea. It was amazing food, value for money and so many vegan options. The two owners of the cafe were accomodating, helpful, lovely and kind. You can tell that they put their heart into this business and the customers that support it. We left with two extra sandwiches to eat later and a free blueberry vegan croissant (which was amazing- we fought over the last bite!! . We love this cafe and would really recommend this. Especially in the current situation we are in, supporting local businesses even if it's getting take away food or a voucher for a gift is so important and especially when the owners are such wonderful and giving people too. Thank you for such a great lunch, we will definitely be back!! PS would definitely recommend to any vegans, the best afternoon tea and cakes I've had in years. Especially the lemon, unbelievable!!!! Pic attached is all vegan, and that's just the afternoon tea!"

"Having frequented the tea room for the last years we were very disappointed by our visit today; menu has been reduced to soup sandwiches prices have been increased soup was watery Cullen skink was watery crusty bread that...was to be served with both was a dried out sliced loaf Not good enough by a long way gave up and went to Annie's Cakery at Platform instead far superior quality and service, and cheaper. We'll be going there in future and would suggest anyone reading this should do likewise. It would appear that the tea room at Duff House has had its day."

"We booked for Sunday Roast, and I have to say the food was superb, and the setting of the restaurant stunning. The Roast Sirloin of beef was tender and cooked to perfection and the accompanying vegetables delicious. We also had dessert crème brûlée and treacle tart. The whole dining experience was excellent. Attentive and welcoming staff. I highly recommend this place."
