"We called in here recently and paid £10.50, yes TEN POUNDS AND FIFTY PENCE, for 2 americanos and 2 scones. Whenever average prices in the area are nearly £2.00 lower, we firmly hold the view that they are charging too much. But, then whilst people...will call in and pay these ridiculous prices they will keep charging them. We won't be back!"

"My wife and i were out for a drive today and as we came into Millisle, Co Down, we spotted this cafe/restaurant called J&R's Grill. So we pulled over and decided to have lunch. The surroundings are quite nice, looking into the main street, not...massive but cosy. The staff were more than helpful and brought us the menu's, i ordered cod and chip's with tea, bread and butter, my wife had the chicken goujon's. Well the servings we got were massive, a lovely well done cod and nicely done chips , alas i couldn't finish it, there was just too much for me but really lovely, my wife's goujon"s were massive, beautiful white chicken breast nicely battered with salad and a very nice sweet chilli sauce and golden chip's. Overall a pleasureable visit and would highly recommend a visit, you wont be disappointed, and good value as well."

"I cannot recommend this venue for a private event. The upstairs new cocktail lounge is perfect for any event. We celebrated our fathers 80 th birthday, which was fantastic, the staff were amazing, the food laid on was delicious and they even went to the trouble of supplying the children colouring books and crayons. It would be hard to find any where nicer. Service: Dine in"

"Went to Costa Ards shopping centre on sat with my wife and her three sisters for coffee and snack my wife only drinks warm water due to a medical complaint but was told for health and safety reasons she could not have hot water and after discussion it was a flat no so we all left buying nothing this is the first time we have been refused hot water and we have travelled all over Ireland this year and will not be back here"

"My daughter visited for lunch on Friday She had a panini which came with a nice salad and she said it was lovely. I had the special which was a rocket, goats cheese and beetroot salad. It was absolutely delicious. We go to TLC...for lunch regularly but that salad was exceptional. Staff are always friendly and helpful."
