"The food at this restaurant was the best I had during my stay in Canico. The self serve salad is a nice touch and unique amongst the restaurants in the area. The grilled Tuna was very impressive."

"Firstly, note that the location is not as shown on the Trip Advisor Map. It is much nearer the sea, in the same row of shops & restaurants as Habbeas Coppus and Snack Bar Mare.It is a friendly little place with about 8 tables outside, and the same inside. We went there on a wet and windy evening, but were still able to sit outside because they pulled a transparent "side" down, which provided plenty of shelter for the outside tables.The man who runs it is so friendly, and speaks excellent English, and the food was delicious. We went there specificially to try some fish dishes which were on their menu which we had not seen anywhere else - parrot fish (very nice) and stonebass fish (absolutely delicious!), with a glass of wine, and we followed it with the cheesecake which was excellent and came in huge slices. As well as a good selection of food, with prices lower than some of the places in the area, they also serve cocktails. Would thoroughly recommend it. It was the best meal of our holiday (and we had a lot of very good meals!)"

"Went with a group of friends for a quick bite. The food was delicious and for a great price. Extremely affordable for the amount and quality of the food they serve. Tried out the prego with fries, loved the sandwich. Nice to go and hang...out with a group of friends and just chat. People serve you with a smile. And to top it off free wifi. Thumbs up."

"Uma eternidade para nos atenderem..pedimos 3 bebidas para começar...uma poncha (péssima com sumo concentrado) demorou 15min...pedimos um copo com gelo a 2 pessoas diferentes...e tivemos que pedir a terceira vez...sendo uma casa com muitas cervejas perguntamos por uma cerveja de trigo...aconselharam uma que quase não tinha...tivemos que ser nós a ver na carta.Falta de serviço e simpátia...viemos embora sem comer!"

"This place is very popular with the locals and I can see why. The food is ridiculously reasonable and delicious and home cooked. I strongly recommend the swordfish fillet which was only €5! The manager was really friendly and the place was very clean. I will definitely come again."
