"The most beautiful experience, the most beautiful food, I had the tofu on toast and it is the best I ever had and my partner had the great breakfast and it was so incredible that eating is cooked with so much care and love and that comes through with every bite. also the most loving coworkers who feel so at home and answer any question we had with thought and care can not wait to eat here again!"

"The vegan melt sandwich is my favourite sandwich in Christchurch full of vegan cheese and veggies make sure you get it heated. There are always multiple vegan options in the cabinet, sweet and savoury, and the coffee is really nice. Update October 2022 Vegan options starting to lag here. Last two times I’ve visited there’s only been sweet vegan things in the cabinet, nothing savoury, including the delicious sandwich. Disappointing. Updated from previous review on 2021 06 14"

This little corner of the Little High Eatery ensured you have a new found appreciation of South and Central American food and drink. Alongside sangria and lighter Mexican Dos Equis beer, Caribe 's fish taco is delicious meanwhile their Cubano sandwich has all of the good flavours. Be sure to share some made-on-site corn chips and dip. The Latin American food is ideal for gluten free with cornbread and corn tortillas as staples. "We had a really nice meal here that more than met our expectations. All the staff were very nice and in particular the lovely lady from Macedonia. The only disappointment was that you couldn't get any appreciation of the view of the lake. Incredibly bright lighting inside, which the staff said could not be dimmed, ruined the ambiance as the decor was very nice. A simple dimmer switch would make a difference."

"This was a jewel of a fund for vegan options. I loved the clean, minimalist design with lots of natural light. the presentation of eating looked incredible. I had a Jackfruit sandwich on a Bretzel-Hallen with gurken, salat and a great dressing. a little creepy to eat, but tasted delicious. I would recommend it very much."
