"Wow, I found my all time favorite subway. Mainly because of a girl that works there named Nova. Everytime I come in, I am greeted with a warm smile from her sweet, friendly face. She makes me feel at home! Like grandma in the kitchen! I love her attention to detail and her subs taste better than when anyone else makes them. Now I'm eating there twice a day, 7 days a week. Not gonna stop because of Novas sub making skills !"

"My wife, sister-in-law and I went here for lunch. We came down from North Charlotte and it was our first time. The food was great. I had the southwest egg rolls and they were perfect. They came out hot and had a nice but not overpowering kick. The others had mushroom Swiss burgers that they said were perfectly cooked and were very fresh. The thing they liked most were the beer battered onion rings. I had a couple and they were awesome. We each had a beer or two and they were fresh and very welcomed on a hot day. We do not come to Gastonia very often but will come down for the food at The Whiskey Mill more often."

"We decided to stop in gastonia for the night on the way to atlanta and a friend told us about this place. wow, what a great culinary experience. besides the warm welcome of our hostess and the great service of our waitress alexis we loved the restoration of theater to be a restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no elevator on the upper level if they want to sit there, but I just took my time and it was worth it. so nice to sit in a stand with view of the open kitchen main dining room. we started pouring generously with their special cocktails and tasty I had the castaway wonderful cocosnus around and my man had the steve mcqueen similar to an old fashion. I had an salat w/bleu cheese dressing that was thick w/ cheese. Although it was outside my man in the 90s, the French wobbles had to have thick w/drumbs, he said it was wonderful. he chose the baby back ribs w/ a fully loaded backkartoffel. I had the short ribs over the kartoffels and I couldn't resist, but had to try the Mac cheese. all delicious and generous in portions. the prices were very appropriate for the quality of the food quantity. here we are in gastonia!"
