"Rachel took our orders. She was friendly and very helpful. I ordered a salad sandwich on multigrain bread and a flat white mug of coffee, no froth and extra hot. My sandwich arrived and it was huge with lots of salad, but white bread. This did not bother me, but when Rachel noticed the order was incorrect, she apologised profusely and wanted to re-order my sandwich. The sandwich looked too good to send back so I devoured it. It was delicious. My coffee arrived exactly as ordered. My husbands wedges were chunky, crisp, a big dish, served with chilli sauce and sour cream. He was very happy with them. His decaf latte was also good. We watched huge hamburgers taken to other tables, and big snitzels. There is a big choice of sandwiches, or they will make them to your order. Service was quick. We travelled to Grafton to see the jacarandas, but only a few were in bloom. We were too early. We will be travelling home in two weeks so will again go via Grafton. I would like to stop at the Smiles Cafe again for lunch."
