"Enjoyed the vegetarian club sandwich and good choice of beers. Actually stayed in because the heat outside was exhausting, and we all enjoyed our simple but well-executed bar-food. Atmosphere is better near the bar and away from the same room where you eat breakfast each day."

"As I longed for a burger in American style, I migrated to the mohr. good reviews for their tariff were true. great blue cheeseburger with pommes. they have a beer of the barrel, a pils and some in bottles. friendly staff and a colorful bartender who was awakened to live like the guests."

"A little bit of a place was written on Gastro Guide as intensively and comprehensively as about Mandy's Railway Diner. I'm surprised I haven't written a post yet. In the last century we were introduced by Heidelberg friends into this slanted cult position and are here again with almost every visit to Heidelberg. It's always great fun, no matter how many times you were here. In the meantime, the railway diner is unfortunately part of a larger fast food conglomerate, with barbecue and an Asian Thai restaurant, which I very regret and minimizes the broadcasting of the railway diners a little. According to legend, the car that is to come from Israel and was only trimmed in America with numerous decorative elements is unique. Okay, you have to deal with the stimulus that hits one. Each corner is full, glued, arranged and decorated with an overmassiness of devotion, and the rock and pop earworms of recent decades are also wounded by the loudspeaker. Not just that. My look is at a concert poster by Jackson Five from 1971. Even the blankets hang over and over with posters. In between, many cichoke, chickens and rams in the shrillest candy colors that hurt in the eyes. Even the toilets hang like a Christmas tree, but Picobello clean. Disinfectants are also available. The mirror eggs with bacon and sausage give a hearty, defensive meal, all beautifully greedy and well seasoned, with the mirror egg with still intact egg yolk. Great! Only the strongly browned toast bread are clearly too sweet and are also presented with a box of maple syrup. It says: eyes to and through. But what a terrible taste aberration for me is perhaps a wonderful combination for others? By the way, the coffee is unquestioned, but appears on the invoice with “more coffee” for 1.50 euros. The packages are made from (8.20 euros). Some components of the filling Remoulade, ripe tomatoes and glittering avocado – slip right on the first bite. He just has a napkin. Otherwise, another top for laundry is ripe. Of course, chips are served as a supplement. Since the whole part is not to be scaled in the best will, the operation naturally offers the packaging. The free parking spaces on the grounds are definitely occupied to the last place and you might have to arrange quite nicely."

"I live in Heidelberg and frequently crave burgers. There really aren't many choices in Heidelberg, but what are you going to do? I can't get a good Mexican meal here either. The burgers at this particular place are just average and fries aren't great -kind...of hard and cold. The service is usually friendly the young women who have waited on me have always been sweet. Today, I was sick, but craved a burger, so I dragged myself off the couch and made the minute walk to Joe Molese. I had my sunglasses on and was very slow and quiet--sort of like usual, only more so because of my bad cold and sore eye. The man who greeted me was friendly and helped me to my seat. I noticed there was schmutz on the table, so I asked for it to be cleaned. Apparently, this set him off and he accused me of being a rude American. I can only assume he didn't like me ordering' him around? Who knows. For a while, things got pretty bad. I talked him off the ledge, because I was too sick to leave. I just needed to eat. He slowly realized he was getting over-heated and treated me ok for the remainder of my meal. I tipped the nice young woman who gave me my check and left. Will I ever go back? No. The burgers aren't worth the grief. The man was over-the-top weird for a good deal of the time and I don't ever want to lay eyes on him again. Was I partially to blame for not being super smiley and talkative? I don't think so. He claimed I didn't respond when he greeted me. Of course I did, but maybe in a barely audible sick voice. Also, the restaurant is noisy. If I had to make a long story short, I'd say this place is ok if you aren't looking for the real deal and that the guy (owner was probably just having a bad day. One thing you should take into consideration is that customer service in Germany isn't what it is in other countries. I've lived in the U.S., France, and Mexico, and being cordial is part of the brand--not a mood. Places of business are selling an experience, not just meals. I'm sort of glad the guy yelled at me, because I've been on the fence about this place. I'm happy knowing I'll never go back. Mahlzeit Burger, here I come!"
