"They asked for hot sauce for hummus and brought me about half a cup of it (more than there was hummus) and they accused me $4 for it. Almost $10 for a salad that was almost completely salad. I'm hungry."

"Cootie Browns is a locally worrying place with great food! Your pizzas are amazing and GF chest is available. We get our vegan by spending the cheese. The Tamales are made in the house and are vegan when you get the black bean (all other options are meat). Do not get the mouth sauce, although it contains bovine broth. I recommend the Jamaican backpack sauce instead, as it is vegan / vegetarian. Many other items on the menu are vegetarian there are delicious in the house made Veggie Burger black bean, sun-dried tomatoes spinach... they are all fantastic! My only complaint is though there are so many vegan / vegetarian options on the menu Your pizza without cheese usually makes sick a raised eyebrow from the staff. They are not very familiar with modifications and more than once I had to send my pizza back because they put cheese on them despite my wishes more than once I say they have refunded the pizza price because of this though! Large bottle of beer choice, fun terrace seats heated in winter, total one of our very favorite Johnson City places to eat!"

"Talk about a 'hole in the wall ' they have a walk up window with a covered front area. No menu posted. Just three people in a closet sized area (with what looks like a store room behind and probably a kitchen beside it, but you can 't see them well) serving food from a bar behind the window and a register beside it. A meat and two veggies, with a corn muffin came to $9.86 with tax but don 't let that dissuade you keep reading. The food is amazing. I got mine to go, in a sectioned foam container. There was a pile of each of the sides (each section was filled and overflowing slighty), a half a chicken, smoked and smothered in a BBQ sauce with a decent kick to it (starts sweet, then the kick hits you, then the wood smoke). I thought I didn 't like green beans with potatoes, but I just never had them fixed right these are great. And the baked beans are actually BBQ beans, not so sweet, and with meat and great flavor. They also had a mixed veggie dish (squash, etc) and macaroni and cheese. And they also had ribs, at the same price as chicken. They do have a covered seating area with music, but it was an afterthought decent, but not fancy. Some street parking, no parking lot but this is a downtown area, so that 's normal. I walked from work, a few blocks away. If you eat there, they give you a regular plate rather than foam. And I understand from others that they aren 't always open. But it is worth stopping by if you 're in the area. This is a perfect example of how hole in the wall places get a reputation for great food."

"I went to lunch and sat in the bar with a friend, the bartender Ariel went out of duty, but was friendly and helpful great people skills and service while she was great! Jamie the personal trainer/bartender was just as friendly and socially good talk and knows her stuff and by the way makes a HECK OF A MILKSHAKE!!!! The food was not bad either I would go back if the rest of the staff is as good as Ariel and Jamie!!!!"
