"Me and my girlfriend went to this location late in the evening, around 8:30-9pm, and we were surprised to find only one employee working. There was a significant lineup, which we determined was largely because there was only one person behind the counter. Her name was Harpreet, and she was incredibly courteous and polite. Her service was outstanding and the food was well prepared, despite the obvious pressure she was under. I asked her why she was working all alone so late at night, she said it was a management decision.As someone who's worked late shifts in similar workplaces, I felt that it was unsafe and unreasonable for her to be working alone, especially in the area where the location is located. I know plenty of gas stations that lock their doors at 9pm because of safety concerns, and if they are open late, they consistently have one other person in the building for mutual safety.I would visit this location again, however, I do not wish to endorse unsafe workplace practices made by inconsiderate management."

"Very good food and not too long waiting. Server very helpful, frinedly and courteous. Went there on a Sunday night to eat and watch SNF. As always a very nice time. Great atmosphere."

"We thought we could grab a quick burger and substitute the fries for a salad which we have done in the past successfully. -we were in a big rush for an appointment -, We went in and I asked for 2 burgers with that substitution and the attendant looked at me as if I just asked for a dinosaur or a UFO. I repeated the request and she went in to talk to someone and came back with the news that they do not do have salads. I asked if they just ran out of salads but she assured me they do not serve salads. So we left."

"I suppose I should have expected that Mr. Mikes wouldn't be the same as I remember it when it first opened in Ontario. I remember moving along in a line up of people, choosing the steak and cut of meat, veggies and kind of potato and then paying for it, and given a number. It's not that way anymore and it was that initial way of choosing my meal that made Mr. Mikes very special. Today, they have Servers taking your order and steaks that can't compare to the once was. I've been only once, had the best they could serve me and left a little on the sad side."

"Another winner in the Mission breakfast biz. Service and food were excellent with a range of choices. A very friendly waitress added to the overall good experience. Prices are extremely reasonable. Seating not great but adequate.However this is minor compared with everything else. Do try this lovely little place."
