"I popped in for a sandwich but decided to eat in as the cafe has a friendly atmosphere. I had a ‘tuna crunch’ salad pot which was delicious, fresh ingredients and generous in size. Will be back when I’m next in the area."

"Had the Tea for Two and can honestly say it’s the best one I have ever had! Extremely good variety of sandwiches and cakes and a massive amount to work your way through. The scones were still warm when the cake tier came out and the mousse was to die for. Will be back again, and then definitely again!"

"Called today to place an order to collect, gave our orders that was fine. Went into collect and the older woman that works there the one with the diamond hat on(diamonds were all falling off which makes me concerned as I wouldn’t like to think...they were in customers food). 3 of us ordered on the phone so when we went in the woman went over what we had ordered and we told her the order wasn’t right which is fair enough so told her it was incorrect and that she must have misheard to which she replied “don’t get me started today” with an attitude. Huffed and puffed and said it must have been us that said the order wrong talking to us like rubbish,which wasn’t even the case and even if it was what’s the problem? She then proceeded to call us “wee lassies” this isn’t the first time we have had issues with the same woman on the way in the car we actually discussed how we hoped it wouldn’t be her serving today. We have now left without food"

"This is my local cafe so it's a very good thing that it is a pleasure to visit it! Their scones are wonderful and they make a great cup of cappuccino. It is also possible to get food and drinks to take away and they seem to do a really brisk trade at lunchtime. Toasties and sandwiches are also on the menu and are lovely. Children are welcome and there are a few tables outside in the summer."

"The workers here are brilliant, really helpful, always smiling and happy to help. the food was somewhat disappointing, the sub was over boiled and dry. the rest of the ingredients were great, but I'm really fussy, so that it fits me perfectly! bring back the raspberry cheesecake cookies anyway! x"

"It is not surprising that fast eating is so popular when ordering a delicious sandwich/roll with all circumcisions and literally eating it within minutes. in my experience this subway is always busy and has been here for over 12 years. goldmine. the cleanliness of the seating area is questionable."
