"Don't know why this isn't ranked number 1 in Owen Sound other than it's a bit upscale for some locals. Very simple decor and good proof menu. The chicken and seafood crepes were fabulous, very rich Alfredo sauce with white wine. Saved the best for last...flourless chocolate mousse cake served warm. Our server Beth was a delight! Can't wait to come back."

"Food and service were great but as a wheelchair user I noticed no accessible buttons for doors, if I was alone or hands were occupied I would not be able to get in! Not to mention the doors are not light!"

"This is a usually good place to go..and still is I guess. The owner has jacked the prices to the point that we don't go as much anymore. Example 9 0z wine is $17 bucks, Inn on the Bay is $12 and just as good. The prime rib is now $35 and $44 for the lg size, trouble is the portioning is out of whack. One day the $34 version is almost the size of the $44 version, and, viceversa, works both ways as I have found. But one thing, the draft beer is outstanding, never flat, and always cold, so I can overlook some of the food problems for a good cold draft. Wings and ribs always good, last week the fish and chips were overcooked, dark brown with a heavy skin on 2 small pcs of fish for $20. But the Covid thing may be affecting with help etc so i am willing to keep trying again."

"Popped in for a bite to eat and found steak on the menu,which I thought I would try. The wait staff bragged about how good the new York strip loin was and so I ordered on their recommendation. In all fairness, I don't think steaks are their specialty so average on the beef is perhaps their top game. The beer was real cold, the service, though friendly, lacked quite a bit on timing and delivery. I might return but likely just for maybe wings and beer."

"As a first time customer I was very impressed. Very nice atmosphere...very friendly staff..I had the MA burger my hubby had the pa burger and we both really enjoyed it. Bring lots of cash if you have a sweet tooth..so many amazing home made deserts you will want to bring home."

"This place was amazing! We went as a group of 8 to this small restaurant and they accommodated us by putting 2 tables together, no questions asked. The food was standard diner food, but they were all delicious. Their special, the bourbon burger was exceptional! We definitely will come again the next time we're in Owen Sound!"

"The wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. We arrived just as a table had opened up. Being still morning, we decided on the breakfast menu, although the lunch menu was now an option. We had coffee to start and decided on a three item omelette and the Small Corner breakfast as choices. The coffee arrived quickly albeit without spoons. When we were able to get the waitress' attention, these arrived quickly with an apology. The coffee was quite strong. Waiting for our breakfast,we noticed a large line forming at the door. Recognizing someone in the line, we invited them to join us. It was another 25 minutes before our meal arrived. It was piping hot and the food was excellent. The marble rye toast was an unexpected bonus. Very tasty breakfast that was light and not greasy. We will definitely come back for breakfast but be mindful to avoid if really busy."
