"I'm glad my wife and I and our three children had dinner in this restaurant. Now we have a long experience and we gladly share it about the muppet that was our server. this guy was exceptional, unfortunately typified the stereotype of the classical French waiters. this guy, who was also the owner, really didn't want 5 Australians starving in his weakly lit and mold establishment. He greeted us at the counterfeit level and although he was mastering English, I heard him speak derogatoryly to other foreign guests in English, he was speaking only French. After having had trouble communicating, I asked if he could speak English, a request that he refused with a violent headache. He spoke repeatedly in his mother tongue and whenever he did that, he then spoke to his friends at the bar and they all laughed. to cut short to a bad experience, I leave you with another interesting example. he was browsing the menu in French and I asked him if we could have time to study the menu - and while waiting for him to serve us drinks while we read French words. what he said: "No! in English, notice, then went further into his new language, "I will only come to your table once.""

"A unassuming Indian restaurant in a small alley from Rue de Rivoli and near Citadines Les Halles. We were staying at the Citadines and were a frequent visitor during our short stay. In my experience most Indian restaurants abroad build their brand by offering heavily...spiced and oily dishes and thus showcasing Indian food as such. But good Indian cooks know the right proportions of spices to add and as a result, it is never the case that any one of the spices overpower others but all the spices blend to give a unique taste. This is one of the few restaurants which serves such truly good quality dishes. Caveat: being a vegetarian, I speak only about the vegetarian dishes. The owner and the Chefs are as unassuming as the restaurant quite likely that it is the nature of the Chefs and the owners is reflected in the food and decor. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good Indian restaurant in the Les Halles area."

"We happened on this restaurant while looking for a place to have a small snack for lunch. We were not disappointed. The staff is very friendly, patient and obviously proud of their food. Indeed the snacks we had (an arancina al ragu and a piadina...with tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto) were both extremely good. The sweets were wonderful too. Hats off to the gentleman (wearing a Hawaian-style shirt) who served us for his kindness. Highly recommended!!"

"With my tired son, I've taken a lot of things to take for lunch at the hotel. everything was fresh with quality products. the frying was well heated and kept warm in aluminum. I just regret not having taken more dessert so the pastries were succulent! excellent value quality price. which helps to want to come back!"
