"This bistro has fabulous food! Our group had breakfast and lunch there. Chad Henderson, the owner, has a great menu. Colin, his chef, does a great job preparing fresh breakfast wraps, hot oatmeal, sandwiches, panini, and home made soups and chili. I believe they also are available for dinner to serve groups and teams that come to the mountain to train. Very friendly service."

"Our Server was Fabulous! For a quiet Saturday night, he had a number of tables to look after and was the only Server we saw in the restaurant that night. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us some great skiing tips. Food was average (nothing special, but not something you just couldn't eat either). I would not call it fine dining but was still very good. The steak dish had some excellent unique flavors and the weekend slow roast special was EXCELLENT (it was a open face prime rib sandwich slow cooked to perfection with a nice smokey taste). Chicken Taco's were okay. French onion soup was good for a nice light ski lunch as was the Chili. As it is the only sit down restaurant/bar at the ski hill, we were able to try a variety of fare. Service on the bar side was also excellent. For a fun treat, order the gunbarrel coffee. It is a very fun showcase that only a couple of the servers are fully trained for! Very entertaining for 12 dollars and some of the proceeds go to the local fire department!"

"It's a pub. I didn't go for the atmosphere as I am definitely not a pub guy. Went for the open mic night that takes place there on Thursdays and it was a blast. Food is decent. I'm not a big fan of alcohol so I would not be the best person to ask."

"I have lived and traveled across the US and Canada and Grimm's Sausage is the best by far for quality, taste and selection of homemade European sausages and deli meat. If you have even just a few minutes to pop in, make sure you try the jerky and pepperoni (to start). If you're feeling like expanding your palate resume, the garlic headcheese and smoked liverwurst is amazing, as is the pizza salami and pretty much anything else that you try. Best european weiners by far as well. Penticton is very lucky to be the home base of this family owned, direct from Germany treasure."
