"We tried the High Tea menu for which you must reserve in advance. Not cheap but oh! So very lovely and good! We each chose a tea, all of which are loose, and you get a teapot and a beautiful cup and saucer to drink it from. Then a three tiered comport came. One for each of us. Hot delicacies on the top, then tiny tasty sandwich pieces in the middle that were so fresh and dainty, and on the bottom level were two scones and numerous dessert pieces. A charming place with live piano music for the holiday. Try it!"

"Love this restaurant. Great sandwiches with fresh and unique ingredients, willing to make up special orders. I think they have the best coffee in Perth! Love the location (an old shoe factory), ambiance and great, friendly staff. Can't say anything negative at all."

"Great bread and delicious rolls. I love the raisin bread. This place has only products that have no gluten. Wonderful little cookies and desserts, various flour for your own baking, and frozen foods all prepared to take out. They make a a great lunch sandwich which they do on a roll, with the filling spilling over the edge. Very delicious egg or tuna. Many more choices, but those are my favourite two. Super staff....hardworking and always pleasant."

"Our go-to spot for lunch break at work, the quiche ( any one of the four or five flavours on the menu every day) is absolutely delicious. 'The fork' is where the 'boys' stop every Friday morning for breakfast."

"Travelling home from Ottawa, we stopped at the Cafe Hideaway for breakfast on a Sunday morning! It was bustling but we snagged a table and our order was promptly taken. Everything was freshly cooked (no reheated pre-cooked anything here). Highly recommended."
