"Just popped in here for breakfast but we were rather late (10:45) and all the croissants had gone. The very friendly chap said that he could make us a sandwich and what an understatement that was. Our sandwiches were delicious. My wife asked for mayonnaise with hers , which they made it fresh. A delightful French pavement atmosphere coupled with good food and very friendly service. We'll be back for dinner."

Des Lys is a delightful cafe serving good quality food with comfortable exterior and interior seating. The owner is great and loves you to speak French which is right up our street. Lovely position, reasonable cost and just a treat."

"J'y vais toutes les semaines et franchement pour le prix d'un mc do, on a un plat du jour très bon qui me rappelle la cuisine de ma mère, un dessert au choix fait maison et une boisson.
