"Rockwood has a gem in hand with the Eramosa River Cafe. Small and very quaint the cafe resounds with wonderful smells of good food.My Western sandwich was piping hot with green pepper, onion and ham that filled the egg and made this a hearty sandwich. It came piping hot, steaming really. Five minutes later it was still steaming and warm. Such hot, fresh food is a wonderful change from bland food and the menu looked like there was other treasures to taste here.One patron had the curry special and as the waiter walked by the wonderful aroma of this dish made myself and my guest wish we had ordered that meal instead.A really rather good gem and worth a visit."

"Picked up a take out order (dinner/desert) - salad missing, no cutlery, no napkin - call back, excuse: didn't check the order because busy with another order - are you kidding? there was only one table with people in it and one person had just left with they're order - the place was empty - what happens when they truly are busy? "we don't give cutlery unless you ask for it" - why dont YOU ask the customer. Very disappointing - service staff too focussed on blabbing and not on the painfully simple task of checking orders before customers leave - NEVER AGAIN!"
