"Fabulous wholefood cafe on canopied level in Shrewsbury Indoor market. We dropped in for a late lunch on Saturday 20th January; the Buddha Bowl was so delicious. Friendly staff, good food, wonderful atmosphere. Definitely now a favourite!"

"Carvell’s is without a doubt what you’d expect from a country tea room. The decor is immediately charming and warm. Old tables and tea sets greet you on every floor. Wonderful menu ranging from home teas and filter coffees, with the classic choices of scones...and tea cakes. Exactly what we were looking for ! Also to note the friendliness of the staff. "A wonderful discovery as an alternative to the motorway service station stops we normally make en route to Snowdonia. We popped in for lunch and we’re really impressed with the quality of the food decent portions and variety for the kids and adults. Food can be ordered via the app which might delight the tech savvy but frustrate those who are not so used to mobile ordering. Very friendly service and dog friendly. Only suggestion would be to make more of the outdoor area which is quite ugly compared to the ornate interior."

"We have often used this restaurant on our up the A49 way. The food quality has always been very reasonable and at a good price. Most of the times we visited a young girl has served and been very prompt and very, very polite. Unfortunatley the last two times an older woman, which we presume is the owner has served us and been extremely grumpy and gave us the impression that she really didn't want to be there serving us or maybe have any customers in. Seeing as there's a cafe in the garden centre just up the road going north and two cafe's a couple miles further on we suggest sevice with a smile might be a good idea for her. Shame, it used to be good."
