"Quite literally a hole in the wallcafé, dutch smuggler and her famous toasties mostly live up to hype. the Mexican toastia was a little subduing and an inevitable chaos to eat and while the taste was there, she didn't pack the stamp that I hoped it would. the mi goreng toastie was surprisingly good! I had expected it was simply overhyped, but they would somehow carbs in carbs sandwiches work well. though better than the mexican, the toastia would still have loved to have a little more fun."

"Awesome dumplings, i had veg dumplings though they have only one in veg but still worth trying and baked mushroom tofu dish is super yummy. They are quick in serving, quiet good customer service for both in house our take away orders. My friends had some lamb buns and they like it too. For all veggies I must say, go for it if you are a dumplings fan.<br>

"The bar is furnished in shades of warm wood and deep blue, and topped up with a resplendent stuffed peacock on the furthest wall. I start off the evening with a Bilpin Apple Cider which I’ve been excited to try since I missed out on sampling it the last time I was up in the Blue Mountains."

"Let me start this review by stating that I am completely biased when it comes to the Phillip's Foote Family Restaurant, having worked there whilst on my holiday breaks at University. I absolutely love Phillip's Foote: from the snug little front bar; to the cobblestone steps leading up to the BBQ's; to the meat and salad station up the very top. I imagine that not many people in the Hospitality Industry would love/d their place of employment, but I did. I particularly loved being fed in between shifts. I'd cook a steak on the BBQ (mainly the marinated rump steak) and help myself to a decent portion of salad. Phillip's Foote holds such an endearing place in my memory. My family and I have returned to Phillip's Foote many times to celebrate family occasions. It's such a great place."

"Come for the stellar views and relaxed rooftop setting but not for the food. The pork belly salad was disappointing, the pork belly was not crispy at all and the meat was rough as rubber, the salad drenched in olive oil. The barramundi spring rolls were much better and had quite a nice zest from the ponzu dipping sauce. Quite interesting to have a fish based spring roll. Great atmosphere, always buzzing with activity but food is mediocre."
