"This is an old school NY style deli. They must have read their recent reviews since my smoked meat sandwich was quite good. Plus, my kids really liked their sandwiches as well."

"You have both sweet and hearty pastries, including sandwiches if you want to have a full meal. I had the BLT and the Tiramisu suns. Everything was so good, especially the sunset. Tiramisu was my favorite dessert before he got vegan, and that tastes like the real deal! I could definitely taste coffee tones The bakery also looks very elegant and they play beautiful classical music."

"I went back recently to pick up some veal sandwiches, a favourite of mine since I was I child and the restaurant was located in their original location on Steeles Avenue West. Knowing that that they had renovated since moving to their new location north of Steeles, I entered into an even more renovated and better planned space. Their gelato section boasted even more flavours, their bakery section carried Gluten-free goodies plus their usual scrumptious selection of Italian pastries, the mini deli section is just that mini but carried a variety of cheeses and sausages and their freshly baked breads are still as delicious as ever. The small selection of dried pastas, sauces, condiments and such is convenient for last-minute shopping. The other half of the Nino's (as we used to call the place) is the hot food little eatery (cafeteria style) where hot lunches (sandwiches or otherwise) can be enjoyed while seated at bistro style tables and chairs. Finish of your meal with an espresso and/or an Italian pastry.Sounds inviting but the veal in the veal in the veal sandwich was pretty non-existent - very disappointed when I compare the lovely bite of veal I used to enjoy, I also tasted more salt than food. In these days of attempting to eat healthily, I would rather give for more veal than salt. On the other hand, they did offer porchetta than can be enjoyed in a sandwich or on a plate with various sides. Not bad but I would probably go elsewhere for veal sandwiches but I would return for their gluten free pastries."

"These reviews have to be fake. I learned this the hard way. I went in and ordered fried chicken with onion rings and got the most disgusting thing ever. Chicken was raw rubbery and disgusting. The onion rings were literally fried onions with some batter around it. I could not even make out what the batter was it was absolutely disgusting.Take these reviews with caution. If you don’t you’ll regret it. It is such a waste of money"

"Reasonably priced falafel sandwich. Fresh toppings and falafel. The only disappointment is the sandwich was prepared with salads placed first in the pita which resulted in a soggy bottom and the sandwich falling apart. Easy to rectify..just ask to only put hummus on the pita, then the falafel and then add all your toppings...kosher and good for North America!"

"A sandwich and flatbread shop with own or several selected versions. the sandwiches are filled with preground and vegetables and sauces and then meats heated on the flattop. although not freshly cut and made the sandwiches are filled and very delicious. the process is not fast eating fast, but then again the ability to add in selected items and it helps to build before them, this to a better alternative to the fast food locations around this area."
