"I was recommended to stop by Sandwich Express by a local colleague for a quick bite and can highly recommend it myself now. Huge array of options and you can either self serve and take away in moments, order something a little more complex or...completely start from scratch and order your own creation. Food was fresh, tasty and plenty of options. Nothing to fault at all and very well executed. Compared to other take away deli’s takeaway shops this was very well done, reasonable in price and well worth the drop in. Staff were lovely and your standard cash card options were available. If you are looking for a quick tasty bite in Townsville do yourself a favour and drop by Sandwich Express."

"I chose a disc pumpkin quiche that looked delicious in the cabinet, but when it was microwave the whole crust was a soggy chaos and inedible despite this the filling was delicious. my friend smashed avocado and her meal was much more beautiful. as it was freshly prepared here I usually met with friends regularly for afternoon tea, but not lunch coffee is good, but the choice of sweetness is like many other local caffes (same supplier I think). very popular dining (only one in the center)"

"We managed to grab a great spot overlooking the sea and had drinks and the famous waffle chips - delicious and well worth the $10! We saw loads of sea turtles too which was great! A really enjoyable hour in a place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff!"
