"The Chuck Wagon restaurant in Woodstock is definitely following covid-19 guidelines and is kept very clean. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and very helpful. The staff create a very hospitable environment and pleasant dining experience. The pricing is okay and my dinner was quite good. I like supporting locally owned businesses Wherever I Go so I also recommend this place for you all."

"The visit to this restaurant resulted from a newspaper discount coupon advertisement. We arrived shortly after 5.00pm and were the only customers until our departure after 6.00 pm. The prime rib was very good but the presentation was lacking appeal. Instead of the prime rib juice on the meat, it was a dark gravy. Good but not appealing. Vegetables were nicely cooked and tasty. Mashed & Baked potatos were good. The small salad bar contained fresh items and was adequate. The restaurant name on the large street sign is misleading. Oasis Restaurant and Pub dose not do the place justice. There is a small attractive bar area, but the word "Pub" is misleading. The Owner/Chef would be best served to allow the attractive female waitress to handle the customers."

"Perhaps a bit different from our regular reviews in that this restaurant is located within the South Gate Centre which is a senior's centre in Woodstock, Ontario. Many towns and cities have these types of centres and this is open to the public with no membership requirement for dining. Food is wholesome - sometimes even trendy and designed for those on a budget. Most seniors will have the lunch and dessert and then have a light dinner at home. The facility has full catering for banquets, parties and weddings and is licenced for alcohol at special events. Monthly Menus are posted and a few examples are: Roast Beef dinner complete, Soup, Liver and Onions, Maple Glazed Salmon, Stuffed Sole, Ham and Scalloped Potatoes and much more. Take out is available. This type of dining can be found in many locales in Ontario."

"Had another great meal experience in the form of a Sunday breakfast, on Father's Day no less.The restaurant was at 90% capacity, a little loud, but we were able to get a table and were served right away.Very friendly, helpful waitresses.The open bag tea was a unique treat, although my Earl Grey Tea did not taste like Earl Grey Tea. Eggs Benedict were great, but I thought the 'hashbrowns' could have been a little more 'brown' and the Cantaloupe included with the fruit was not ripe enough to have been served.Still, a very good experience and I will keep coming back to sample more and more of their menu."

"We have gotten into the "take out trend" and have forgotten what it is like to just go out and sit down for a good meal!! I had been in before but not for a full dinner. Wow !!! Chris, our server, did not push alcohol on us !! That is great as we both have medications that do not allow alcohol. He was very good with the menu and suggested appropriate sides. While they cost a few dollars they were definitely worth it. The garlic fried mushrooms were very good. Next time I will ask for them whole. The shrimp were to die for!!! My wife had a Lemon Tart for desert and I snuck a nibble - French Pastry - and delicately flavoured. Beautiful !! My wife also mentioned portions. They were perfect !! Not too large !! - but ample and yes - take home boxes are available. Too many restaurants will load up the carbs so you think you are getting a great meal but not always the healthiest choices. My steak was served with 5 asparagus spears - again properly cooked."

"Went to subway this afternoon and was offered the best service I ever had. Not only the service was excellent but the subway that was made tasted very good. Felt as the subway was warm till my last bite. Place to stop by for quality...service and good tasting subway"

"This sports bar was one, my family and friends have been going for years. Unfortunately, they hired the WORST waitress. She's rude, ignorant, and if she decides that she doesn't want to make food or what you've ordered, she'll borrow and give you excuses. She's very lazy. She thinks it's her bar that's not the case... she's just working there, unfortunately we're gonna take our business elsewhere for poor employees. This lady is Judy."

"We stopped here on the way to TO. It's okay for a bathroom break and a very expensive drink. $2.49 for a bottle of water was the cheapest I found and Timmie's is lined up 20 deep."
