"My husband and I are native San Antonioians we do not often get the chance to go down to Market Square a lot of times, frankly it's because there are way too many tourists. We ended up being there around lunch time on a Tuesday afternoon it wasn't busy we decided to go look for silver while we were on the way down there we decided to stop at Mi Tierra. The pan dulce, the bakery was wonderful as it always is. Now, there was a wait for a table but honestly it doesn't matter if you go when we went or at 2:00 in the morning on a weekend... this is a wonderful Mexican Tex-Mex restaurant... it is world famous! I think Bill Clinton even has a shirt from Mi Tierra that he wears when he jogs. We opted to sit in the bar and we were served an appetizer and we each ordered drinks . They were out of this world! In fact I remarked to my husband that this was one of the best times he and I had had together in a long time and it's not as if we have a bad marriage, it's just we were relaxed and we enjoyed the scenery. Mi Tierra is a certified San Antonio Tradition or as the locals would remark, it is Puro San Antonio ???????? ??? ?"
