"The food was excellent as usual. We travel from GA just to eat steak. It's the best steak you'll ever eat! The entire menu sounds great and looking at other peoples orders, looks great, but we always get the filet. Wonderful people. I recommend to everyone who is in the area."

"Scales and mussels are enough of a reason to come Newport RI. Go there early to get a table, or wait happy. It's like that. Best seafood in the city, amazing both simple and complex at the same time. And very fresh and tasty with comfortable large portions, service is excellent. Nicole, who served us both nights, was efficient, caring and the epitome of hospitality. We would go there only for them.... (Oh and the deserts are amazing!"

"Great Atmosphere, Good Food. Situated in an old home with funky decor, two bars, and tables located in several rooms on two diffrent floors, this not-your-typical Mexican restaurant is a fun place to have dinner drinks with friends... The sticky ribs appetizer is NOT to be missed under any circumstance; the entrees are well-prepared, although the quacamole is disappointingly average Service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere loud and boisterous. The place gets crowded quickly and the bars are very cramped. Drinks are ok, tending to be be on the weak side, but beer selection is decent."

"Visiting Newport and came to this place last night for a drink, and wanted to come back for dinner tonight. First, my husband and I both didn't enjoy our drinks from yesterday blueberry mule and whiskey sour), but we liked the atmosphere of the place so we decided to give it another chance for dinner. The decor is cool but it was hot and musty inside. We were sat right away, but it took a rather long time for a server to grab out orders. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time as we had a feeling from the beginning things would be on the slower side. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my husband ordered a burger with cheese $1 extra) and bacon $2) extra. My quesadilla was a quesadilla, not much to mess up with a tortilla and cheese, but I will say it's quite evident the chicken they used was microwaved out of a bag. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, it came the first time around well done and burnt to a crisp. We sent it back and finally when it came back, it was still burnt to a crisp on the outside, but inside was rare as can be. Overall service was pretty sub par, the manager never came over to apologize for the food being sent back, just walked by and gave us weird looks a few times."

"Stopped in to this location to grab a quick healthy lunch. They had several salads that looked yummy. We sat outside where they have plenty of seating and great ambience! We had to local IPAs to start with. My day also had a bloody Mary which he said was so good! We both had a kale and radicchio salad. I had tuna and he had salmon. The salads were absolutely delicious. They weren't huge so we definitely could've got an appetizer as well but we didn't. The salmon and tuna was perfectly cooked and complimented the salad well. I can tell why this location was so busy!"
