Tasted like cornbread with corn and NOT sweet LOVE the dill potatoes... again NOT sweet, but dill flavored and not overly wet, and perfectly cooked potato GENEROUS brisket portion on the sandwich GENEROUS fries portion GENEROUS dill potato portionOkay let's talk about some of the missed opportunities here: Chicken was a bit dry... BUT I did come at the end of the day Chicken as a bit SMALL... the 1/4 dark i buy from Harris is like 3x bigger Brisket was SALTY... BUT maybe because I have cut down recently and now I am hyper sensitive Drink dispenser area was a MESS... BUT maybe because I arrived at the end of the day I THINK there was sweet tea available... but i am not going to trust an open carafe to pour from with no label on it Fries were SUPER salty... BUT again, maybe i am over sensitive right nowI DO want to go back and try the Pot Pie (which was sold out... so maybe I update this again in the future?"

"If you want to have a hearty or healthy breakfast look no further then The Bay Watch Restaurant in San Mateo. It's centrally located downtown. They were busy on a weekday and accommodated our party of 8. We were immediately seated. Water, then Hot Coffee and Tea were served in a carafe and placed on the table. This was very convenient when I wanted a refill. The staff was very pleasant. The menu had a good selection of healthy dishes along with diner classics and skillets, and burritos and wraps. I chose the Bacado Omelette- Bacon, Avocado, and melted Monterey Jack Cheese. Topped with sour cream. Served with a side of salsa. It was good and had lots of flavors going on. I love avocado and it was delicious in an omelette, along with the cheese, salsa and sour cream. I chose Sourdough Bread and Bay Watch Potatoes. One of my friends had their Denver Omelette-Ham, Bell Peppers, Onions, and Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheeses. She chose a Toasted English Muffin, and Home Fries. She was very pleased. My other friend ordered the Masterpiece Omelette-Ham, Bacon, Sausage , Mushrooms, Onions, melted Cheeses, and Diced Tomatoes. Topped with Sour Cream. He ate every drop on his plate. There are vegan and vegetarian along with healthy options too. We parked on the street. I will say this place is a bit pricey. A basic omelette starts at $14.95 and up depending if you add meat. Burritos $17.95, Skillets $18.95. A Smoked Salmon Omelette is $21.95. 2 Side Sausages start at $6.00, Chicken Sausage is $7.00. You get the picture. I will say everything was very tasty, and I would recommend coming here."

"The owner left the store early and they were closing up. As I walked in I did not notice the sign stating they were closing at 2:15. The young girl at the counter told me that they were unable to make sandwiches but could make me salad. I asked her why that I really wanted the club and she stated she was told by the boss man to not make sandwiches. I asked her please a couple times and even told her if I didn't like it I would not complain. She hesitated and eventually made it for me. I could tell she really didn't want to but she did it anyway and its still one of the best Sandwiches I've had. I didn't catch her name but she had a green Ninety-Six Shirt on and I wanted to say thank you again she deserves to be acknowledged."
