"This review is for Mon 7/31/23. My husband I have been to RBD before, like the food ambiance and usually make a reservation. We didn't think a Mon night would need a reservation, but had an issue with the seating/hostess. We arrived at 6:30 were told a 30 min wait, despite 3-6 open tables between when we arrived when we were seated. 1 table the hostess said was reserved for employees but was given to 2 ladies that needed to move in from the patio when it started raining (we understand that . We couldn't get drinks while waiting (bar said they were only serving seated patrons . We made an online reservation for 7pm as a backup. Hostess called us a few minutes before 7pm, took us to a high top table. We asked for 1 of the available standard tables instead, especially since we now had a reservation. She said no that they were no longer taking reservations for that night, but then proceeded to seat the next party of 2 also waiting to a standard table! We shared our experience with a manager, all he said was that the 1 table was not reserved for employees (so hostess lied? and there was a large party seated at 6:30 (looked like ~12-14 people so they were spreading out the patrons in order to not overwhelm the staff. It's concerning 1 how the hostess treated us and 2 that a party of only ~12-14 would have such a negative impact, especially since they likely knew they were coming (table was set up before they arrived ?"
