You can tell from their food that they use high quality ingredients and special sauces that are highly addictive. My friend and I have now found our go to sushi place in Vancouver!"

"TonTon Sushi opened about 3 months ago, and replaced Sushi Aria. The oshisushi was sooo good. It was lightly torched so there was a delicious grilled and smoky flavour to it. There was a miso sauce on top that added some subtle flavour. Inside the sushi rice, there was a small piece of tamago!"

"Fresh and fast!. I'm really impressed with Iki. Delivery sushi can have so many spots where it can fail, but I didn't really find anything wrong here. My edamame was crisp, my tsunomono was huge, my appetizer tempura was crispy and not in the least bit greasy. They have the really sweet and juicy yellow ginger that I like, too. I got some california rolls and an avocado roll nothing fancy but it was very tasty. I wasn't exactly paying attention to whether the nori was perfectly sealed up to tell the truth, because I'm just so happy to get good food delivered fast. They said 45 minutes (I called around 4:30) and it took about 15.<br/ <br/ When I go out to eat, I am certainly a bit pickier about presentation, but this was high end service and quality delivered food in my opinion. I haven't really been fond of brown rice sushi until now. So thanks, Iki! I'm a happy customer."

"Good choice of food and very good service. had taste of preservatives probably from the fish dishes. the reason why I rated it low is that they can be cheated or robbed on them food bill, as they may double load them food, especially. to the higher price those. I suggest that cra should review their books if they cheat customers, they can also control them on cheating they pay. there were other customers the same experiences from another group of food discussion."

"I used to like this place but lately feel it has gone downhill. The quality of the food is now very hit or miss (seared fish that tastes of lighter fluid recently) and last week they completely forgot my order (nothing complicated, just a bento box). I waited to see if it would eventually arrive but after my wife's orders had arrived and been eaten we decided it was too late and we would just leave. When we came to pay my order was on the bill! When I told them it had never arrived they of course removed it but frankly I think a place with more class would have waived the whole bill, not just the part we never received.Sadly, I have given them the benefit of the doubt too often and have given up on Ebisu. There are plenty of alternatives in the vicinity!"

"The staff here are courageous, heroic human beings, especially the hostess with the ponytail and red lipstick. I was visiting Vancouver on business and learned very quickly that it is an overrated and unsafe area full of aggressive homeless people. I was walking downtown trying to find a good spot for lunch and I ended up getting followed by a drug addict for the 29th time that day. I was fearing for my safety and walked into the first place I saw, which just so happened to be here. He followed me into this restaurant, caused a scene and started yelling incoherent things at me. The fearless warriors at this restaurant did not call the cops or 911, or tell the man to get out of their restaurant where there were people clearly uncomfortable with the whole scene, but what they DID do was the AMAZING act of giving me a place to sit to regain my bearings after such a traumatic scene! What thoughtful, caring heroes! I think Mother Theresa works at this restaurant with how protective they are of the people who enter their establishment! And it gets even better they never ONCE offered me a drink of water or food, or asked me if I was okay. But they are heroes because they did the bare minimum and gave me a place to sit! SOMEONE GIVE THESE PEOPLE THE PURPLE HEART!"
