"I had encountered the Kastenmeier with a report by Jenome. The restaurant specializing in fish and seafood still resided in the noble Pocket Mountain Palace, whose rebuilding is to be delayed slightly surprisingly, but now in February next year. The native Austrian, who has been cooking in the Saxon capital since 1995, has moved with his team to the hardly less noble Kurländer Palais, which was rebuilt as one of the last old ruins in 2008. The path of the guest leads through a quite empty-looking foyer, in which the bronzes of young women, which were to be bought commercially on the new market, in manated poses, seemed rather inappropriate for me. If naked at all, then here please baroque... Behind the glass door, it goes through the oysters and sushibar, where it goes with damped light and bistro-stumble leger. By the pass and around the corner there is only a small room with wall paintings graceing hieroglyphs, then a very large guest room, in which the coarsely clustered walls of rocks surprise. Floors and door doors made of marble form the noble counterpart. On the walls more sought together than found art. I say: unusual, not necessarily harmonious interior design, but that can also be interesting. The high ceilings were staggered, but the noise level was quite high, because on this Tuesday evening in February the Kastenmeier was filled to the last place. During a small tour various languages and German dialects were to be heard, but little Saxon. I had the impression that there are almost only businessmen and well-established tourists, according to which are the prices, but also the expensive wine card with several rarities. The Whisk(e y specialties from the car were as frequented as the Crêpes Suzette, freshly prepared at the table. For me, there was only an unloved, already quite discarded high table in the corner of the first room, after all with a thick padded, cappuccino-coloured bank, but without reservation you cannot complain. The place also had advantages; a constant coming and going from and to the pass, but so I had access to my young service lady at any time, who, like her many colleagues, was perhaps not from the subject, but certainly well trained. Speech, attention, announcements: All professionally without real cordiality, keep set to business visitors. The crowded deck was immediately lifted. When she was not able to answer my requests professionally, she asked the restaurant manager to my table, who was obviously asking for my satisfaction... As a few days before the fasting period had started, it remained for me at Crodino Soda (6.5€). 4.9€ for a 0.33l beer that would call Hanseat1957 Group Pils... For the first hunger before two kinds of bread, a Tessiner Pane maggiore (going so and Mediterranean baguette (fearingly tough). I was really surprised that onion salt (very tasty, cut liquor fresh cheese (also tasty and butter (butter seemingly offered in a porcelain Trinity dish, which was nevertheless found as a snoying plastic (correct: snöde! Vinegar and oil can be purchased independently. As a greeting, the kitchen sent a baked shrimp on sweet potato puree. Cold, but crispy. First very sweet, but with time the crust animal prevailed. Bit too early prepared mass goods, but how should it go differently at full house. A second copy that accidentally (?) to my table, was additionally glued with Majo. Not everything is bad. My menu started with 4 oysters from Monsieur Gillardeau. The unit price of 8€ says everything about the price level. However, mathematically gifted people could enliven it with the help of the photo by a free supplement, because a oyster might be bad! Irritating because it should be ensured anyway not to expose the guest to health hazards? Or with style, because you can't always smell it? I think it's a marketing gag that didn't change anything like always pleasantly sweet aroma of mollusks from the pelvis of Oleron. As a “Beihau” a very mild, sugar-deficient shallots Vinaigrette and delicious bacon bread. Add lemon in a sauce. My thoughtful sushi order failed: The very expensive tuna farm in the map was “due to quality problems”. The one I asked for and (if well done not cheap Aal was not at all on offer because “the boss doesn’t like it.” You get old like a Basque cow and don't get the chin. I had no pleasure on the Sushi standard program at the local prices, so the starter variation for 25.5€. Not even covered for performance. Two small pieces Baby Kalmar were tender and convinced with quiet roasting notes. I would not have needed the sweet potatoes known from the kitchen, but it visually filled the plate and was no mistake. Only cautiously gratinated little scallops were not covered by the cheese and the accompanying crisp spinach was really good. A solid-meat, well-protected shrimp was able to lift off positively from the swarm geossin of the amuse. It was best to taste the cuts of the tuna spine that I would not have expected to fried under the term Sashimi. The friendly host quoted the Japanese boss that this also meant very short fried. Only marinated or panned, for example, in Sesam lead to the name tataki knocked. Learned again. If it's true. The very fine, Kateifi similar potato straw crispy nice. Wakame Salat rounded off the Asia Department, Rucola with Parmesan the Mediterranean. As a main dish there were stone butter from the grill (36,50€; my frequent companion congratulated me for the choice that would have been his. We have done no wrongdoing on the contrary. A thick tranche of the not so plated fish, fried and juicy (butt is a safe bank with strong roasting, just right to not cover the aroma. In addition, wild broccoli à point also aromatically strong and a fairly acidic, handcrafted clean beurre blanc. Star of the plate however black veneer rice, which also had exactly the bite I like about rice: no longer hard inside, but still crunchy. The typical nutty, slightly smokey taste. It was not a classic “running” risotto, but very creamy and with some freshness through spring leach. Where the pink color comes from, I wasn't clear. Does black rice grow? There was no single grain going back! In total, however, quite satisfied with my decision for the Kastenmeier I paid the sympatheticly presented, but without alcoholics quite lush bill (without tax number and rolled me back to the nightly new market."

"Because we found the restaurant so pretty, we went to this restaurant. as I have a massive seafood allergy, we asked the service to prepare us the expensive plate for 2 exclusively with salmon and otherwise vegetarian. in spite of this, we naturally wanted to pay the full amount. we got a plate with everything...Krebs, garnele, fishing etc. on it we pointed the operation to the mistake and I noticed again that I have an allergy. she stomped away and brought us the same teller only without the giant garnel. as if that were not too bad, we realized that there was also chicken meat, which we both do not eat. no apologies only pampige answer. very sad."
