"I had been turned off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came off like), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"Veggie maki roll the Inari sashimi were really good. It didn't matter for the fermented tofu roll. Also the seaweed salad and the wrong soup had both good, but the seaweed salad was too big, so it was strangely expensive. Prob would eat here again only the fermented tofu roll would avoid."

"I really love sushi but I never had a particular favorite restaurant because everything tasted the same UNTIL I stepped into this cute little gem located in Kihei. Okay, I didn't even look at the menu and I already loved the place from the start. The owners (husband and wife) decorated/designed everything themselves. ARTISTS! It's just the two of them running this little restaurant that makes you feel like you're inside their own home. The wife is so sweet! Now.. the sushi just solidified my decision to call this my favorite sushi place. It's so fresh. The attention to detail and quality was outstanding. I don't want to spoil the rest for you... You have to go there and experience the beauty of authentic sushi!! Coming back here again... When I have the money. P.S. I never write reviews but I had to for this place, because, who wouldn't?!"
