"Let me begin by saying that our family eats sushi often, from Houston to San Fransisco. We went here (Inaka Sushi and Bar, Oklahoma City) yesterday after discovering that Tokyo was closed for the afternoon. Boy, do we wish we had waited. The restaurant itself is attractive. The pop music was way too loud, the server was unfriendly almost to the point of being surly. She took us to our table and immediately (as in the moment we sat down) wanted to take our order. She seemed annoyed that she had to wait. BTW-This was at 2:30 in the afternoon, so we were the only patrons in the restaurant. We ordered 1 water, 2 hot teas, and a Dr Pepper to drink. Our 2 year old grandson was asleep when we arrived, so we didn't order anything for him. My daughter-in-law doesn't care for sushi, so she ordered tempura ($16.00). We ordered the largest assortment of sushi they offer ($72.00) for my husband, our son, and myself. The server brought the tempura a full 10 minutes...

"They get fast casual Japanese eating at this place with a great view of the st. anthony’s hospital campus and the midtown traffic. we went to lunch on black Friday and had not to wait in the queue to order. my wife got a Bento box with calamari while I got the soba noodles with seafood. the sweet was colorful and tasty, and so were the noodles. the garnels were a little carburized from the steel grill, some extra taste. it was a satisfying warm meal on a cool day. the prices are also appropriate. we both had lunch for a total of $20."

"I wanted to try this place ever since Dave Cathey reviewed it in The Oklahoman. It was worth the wait. A sushi place seems kind of odd in the middle of this gas station strip mall, but the inside is decorated very nicely with wood paneling, browns, and blacks. My wife likes sushi more than I do, but we both ordered the lunch box specials. It didn't hurt that each lunch box comes with 4 bites of California roll (although wasabi and ginger are not included). <br>

For $8, the lunch box seems to be a good deal. You get miso soup, a small salad with the classic Japanese steakhouse dressing flavored with ginger and carrots, 4 bites of California roll, 2 bite-size shrimp dumplings, a scoop of sushi rice, some steamed and salted edamame, and your choice of an entree. I got the hibachi salmon. It was served on a generous bed of vegetables in just the right amount of sauce. She got the chicken tempura. It was served with some tempura okra and green beans. ...
