"Went here to try some sushi because I've heard it's the best in Providence. I'm not sure if I'm qualified to give it that title, my favorite sushi is from Wegmans. I will note that everything seemed of admirable quality and the patrons of the restaurant looked quite pleased. My friend noted that the cooks spoke Mandarin but I don't think that impacted their work. There were myriad sushi and other options. I liked the presentation and ambience. Everything seemed to go quite well until I awoke later that night and thought I had pancreatitis. My friend did not suffer any consequences and enjoyed their food. My experience was unique I felt but I don't think I'll return. Don't let my one time poor reaction deter you though."

"Disappointed by typical americanized cuisine.. Unfortunately, the usual salty, over-greased Asian fare. I ordered the Cashew Chicken lunch special with pork fried rice and wanton soup. (take-out I started with the soup which had a rather bland yellow broth with slightly chewy wantons. Overall, the experience was salty and flavorless with only a tinge of scallion Once I was finished with the soup, which I often use to judge the freshness of a restaurant, I moved on to the rice. Again it was your average oily, dark brown rice with traces of a few vegetables. "They wait for a seat on the Hibatchi tables, but went on a Saturday night at 6 and sat immediately on one. the service was friendly and the food was delivered immediately to the table, hardly waited. some of their sushi dishes are a bit more on the expensive side, but from some of the other places I was, but it is a good quality with great presentation."

"We reserved our table the day before Valentine's Day. We could get barley in the lobby. They clearly outposted. They had other guests waiting there for an hour. Absolutely unacceptable, we are very disappointed."

"Horrific. I'm shocked by the positive reviews of this restaurant. Maybe because it's close to the schools. I do NOT suggest it. Stale avocado, rancid shrimp, and grey salmon. I've been 3 times and it's so much worse than the other sushi spots in Providence. I can only think its walking distance to colleges makes it popular. Service is slow and disrespectful all 3 times. Go anywhere else."

"I called myself especially before I made a midday reservation and asked if the menu providence restaurant week was available on mlk. I was told. When we arrived, we were told that the lunch menu was not available and was not the 16.95 restaurant weeknesses special. we had to order in dinner. then what I thought would control 50 and cost drinking money came to 80. the old bait and switch was pulled and I went with rest I had no plans to eat. one and finished with this location"
