"Amazing hospitality, amazing food, amazing experience. Here, you sit shoulder to shoulder with your neighbours at a bar, and on top of menu items, you get to choose side dishes of the day. Had a spectacular potato salad. Ordered pork miso soup a must get item at the shop, almost everyone had it. And their katsuo bonito was stellar. Went back the next night and had the same miso soup, and got their seared beef sashimi which was also good. If you're in Takamatsu and you are finally bored of sanuki udon, this is the place to go without a doubt."

"I was stolen here for the grilled chicken. It is very different than most izakayas made in Japan, and worth the experience. The beef was also quite delicious. I would definitely come back when in the area again, and think it is worth trying."

"Kaiten-zushi is fun for the kids (and that's the only reason I go there), it's cheap, but of course, the sushi is not that great. Sushi lovers will rather go to a real sushi restaurant."

"The food is quite good, but not good enough to blow you away, or justify choosing it over the fullness of izakaya in this area of the Shotengai. They also crawled too many people at the bar. I was so close to the woman next to me, she licked me with her horsetail when she turned to the person on her other side. Get a table if you can."

"Amazingly grilled fish and sashimi. But the showtopper was the fish tempura. I never had a fish in my mouth like ice. Starters and soup as a grandiose finale were also quite good. Just wonderful and a fun environment. No English menu. Not even photos. We asked for recommendations and woken up. That was all we could say."

"Good fish and country restaurant N34°20′28,5′′ E134°03′03′03,4′′ A bit hard to find near the Dormy Inn Takamatsu: in a backyard behind the headquarters of Takamatsu Shinkin Bank. Pay attention to the name and phone number. You can choose between opposite or private tatami room sessions. The restaurant has an English menu with pictures. This Rough Guide recommended restaurant, specializing in fish and land dishes, serves gourmet standard dishes at very reasonable prices. In April 2018 we ordered a beautifully presented Sashimiter for two, with Wasabi, Bergkartoffeltempura, tomato salad and cucumber and six pieces of sushi. The fish was fresh and tasteful. The food was delicious. The service was fast and the server spoke English. Overall we paid ¥6025 for five dishes and four beers. Sashimi is always expensive. Okageya Restaurant serves excellent Japanese fish dishes. Recommended."

"It is delicious to eat! Especially grilled salmon is the best! Salmon is fat and has a nice charcoal grilled smell, it was very delicious. Is it the purpose of getting a “in preparation” tag at the entrance of the store? We had a staff in the store, so I would be happy to guide you when you take a plunge. Please note that reservations and regular flights will be accepted as soon as possible. Credits"
