"You would figure with all the competition in the neighbourhood, Ginza Sushi would try to excel in customer service. However, our experience last night once again proves that they have no interest in maintaining loyal clientele. This used to be our go to place for so many years and for the third time, the service on October 1st was horrendous. Three of us went to the restaurant, two of us ordered sushi combos and one ordered a Bento box. The sushi platters came out relatively quickly, however after waiting an additional 20 minutes the Bento box still never came. Calling over the manager and owner repeatedly, he said it was in process and did nothing to either expedite the delivery of the Bento box or offer something while the Bento box was being prepared. Never have we had to wait 20 minutes for a Bento box anywhere while the rest of our party ate their food. As we asked for the bill, our server and asked if we wanted anything else. I quickly responded “how about the rest of our food”. She just walked away. We paid the bill and walked out. This is the third time we've had an issue with service at what used to be one of our favourite restaurants for the past 20 years. I can truly say this visit was definitely the last. With all the other options for Sushi in the neighbourhood, I would not recommend going to a place where of the food quality is only ok and the service non-existent."

"Sashimi was excellent. Service was efficient and friendly. I took one star away because we agreed on a pick up time but when I arrived, the person behind the counter said his colleagues didn't tell him about the order, Infact the order was pinned on the fridge and he was able to see it right away. My recommendation is why not be straightforward and ask me to come and pay it twenty minutes earlier, so I won't be late for our lunch meeting? If you need payment first, please say so."

"We went for dinner Sunday evening. We were served right away. It's fun to order from iPad menu. You can see the pictures and ingredients there. Soups and salads from self serve bar. Not too much sashimi choices, but sushi and rolls are quite good.Modern and spacious decor makes nice atmosphere.Overall we enjoyed the experience."

"For my first experience this was a bit of a let down. Walking in on a Sunday night at 7:30 there was not one person there. To me that is usually not a good sign. "Japanese Sashimi and Korean Fried Chicken is a top wonder pair and for it to be offered as a combo is game changing. Chibap is located next to Hoki Poke which allows them to easily collaborate. I tried their Po+Chi Box meal which consisted of Crispy Fried Chicken, YangNyeom Fried Chicken, Deep Fried Mandu and Poke (with your choice of protein). I got this as an UberEats Delivery and it travelled great. Chicken was still crispy even though one was sauced. The meal box comes with 3 pieces of Deep Fried Mandu from Chibap Mandu is a general term for Korean dumplings that consist of a savory filling wrapped in thin wrappers. It was really well made fried to perfection with a delicious filling mixture of meat and vegetables moist and juicy and has a good texture. The Mandu also came with a drizzle of sauce on top! Regularly, Chibap's half size Crispy Fried is $16.95 and half size Yang Nyeom is $17.95 which is more pricey than some other places. Portion wise, together, they almost meet 1 half size (there were about 4 boneless chicken nuggets per flavor). The bite size chicken was made of white meat and remained very crispy. I enjoyed the sweet and savory flavor and appreciated the variety instead of just giving one flavor of chicken. Unfortunately, it no longer comes with pickled radish as previously pictured which could have helped cut through the heaviness of fried chicken. The Poke is provided by Hoki Poke and the protein I chose was Salmon (required $1 upcharge). It came with a spring mix salad, edamame, cucumber, purple cabbage, nori, and deep fried onion chips placed on a small bed of sauced purple rice. In terms of ratio, there was more salad than rice than protein. The box also isn't that deep so it was a thin layer of rice, salad and protein. The salmon was not cut evenly and some pieces tasted less fresh than others. Combination was alright and decent. Overall, it was good but not a place I would particularly choose to go out of my way for. If I do return, it would be for the chicken or if the curated box's price has a special price."
