"Slow service, coffee order was wrong, ordered eggs/bacon etc breakfast. bacon was clearly overcooked/dry, chorizo was burned at places, egg lacked taste, too much salt. ordering was not fulfilled in succession. I waited for over 20 minutes for a coffee and longer for my meal. the person next to me came good after me, but got her coffee before I got mine. no explanation for this or the slow service. Takeaway orders were many and only clarified. the moats in the caffe stayed too long waiting. I think the owner would have offered a partial discount."

"Visited this venue this evening with a friend. Place was deserted when we arrived. packed by the time we left. Small Modern Thai Menu cooked by the Thai owner chef. Food was not expensive and was great tasting. Not licensed but a Chinese couple eating beside us brought a bottle of red and the cafe provided nice wine glasses.Also have a espresso machine and the coffee they make is an awesome blend.My friend is Thai and said the Pad Thai was a good as you get on the street in Bangkok.Was not expensive the ladies do the serving were helpful and very friendly. We left stuffed to the gills and all for under $40.00 for 2.Food was great and will definitely return. Without doubt the best Thai joint in Southport. if you like a nice modern lunch or dinner or simply a great coffee you could do a lot worse than visit Blue Moon.I know I will be back."

"Visited for the first time today and I was impressed. Very friendly service and great selection of food for a lunch bar. The Vietnamese Grilled Lemongass Pork with Rice Vermicelli for $8.50 was great! Loved the crushed peanuts and dressing served on the side. They have satay chicken and sweet chilli chicken burgers on the menu for under $6. They accepted card payment for my small transaction which is always a plus. Lots of tables and trashy mags so a good spot to get away from the office for your lunch break."
