"Tonight we ventured to the sweet little suburb of Warrandyte which is such a quaint patch of Melbourne it makes you feel as though you are on vacation in a cute little country town. We dined in a group of eight and were rather impressed. The staff were lovely, the service was efficient and the decor was suitably traditional instantly transporting me to a restaurant in Bangkok. The food was aromatic and authentic with the menu thoughtfully indicating the levels of heat in all the dishes. At this point I'll point out the Zomato menu is out of date and their current menu is actually even more enticing including a delicious range of desserts all with a intriguing Thai spin. <br/>Across the table we had spring rolls, satay chicken skewers and tom yum for entree and for mains it was chicken satay greens, beef cashew stir fry, laab chicken salad, red curry stir fry, Penang curry, and seafood stir fry paired with a whole heap of coconut rice.<br/>Lots of punchy delicious flavours. The Penang was my standout, lots of lemongrass and nuttiness and delicious coconut cream packed with plenty of heat. I could have drunk the sauce like a soup. Quite a strong atmosphere too aided by the decorative interior and full capacity. Solid find"

"Banh xeo game is If you are looking for Viet Resto with food that's great for shared plates. Def hit up Thanh ha 2. I discovered them first online but unsure if it was legit until my Vietnamese friend confirmed it. I sent today to have the satay chicken skewers, betel leaf beef rolls and pork/prawn banh xeo with 2 coconut drinks. Damnnnnnn this was so good!! All the flavours were on point and it really reminds me of Cabramatta/Canley vale (Sydney) Vietnamese family style restaurant. Most importantly we were super full and it came down to only $60 between the two of us. "Dinner on a Saturday night. After reading other reviews I selected this restaurant in front of others in the area. Others have described the intimate setting and family friendly nature well but I disagree on a lot of other points. In a nutshell I felt like we'd gone back in time to the 1970's when Asian cuisine was new to the naive Australian palette. The food, whilst beautifully presented and embued with appropriate texture strangely lacked flavour. It felt like inauthentic Thai built for Australians. I had veg. springrolls and a country salad and my companion moneybags and the sizzling scallop stirfry. Nothing amazing, salad was like a Gado Gado complete with tinned pineapple, and the sizzling plate didn't sizzle. The decor is tacky a weird row of chairs lines the walk way to the toilets behind the kitchen. Service friendly and prompt but some problems with English. Price hurts $82 for two excluding drinks. Vegetarian options good. I like supporting local business and the experience was entertaining so on those grounds recommend giving it a try. Score out of 5. "We ordered 4 pizzas for delivery and were very disappointed that 3 out of 4 had the wrong toppings. Although the ingredients were all fresh, some had additional toppings not listed on the menu and not wanted, such as olives and anchovies on the Pepperoni and others were missing toppings that were listed or requested. It made it hard for some to enjoy their pizza. I could understand maybe one mistake but 3 out of 4 was a bit much. We are locals and this was not a great introduction for our first time order."

"The first time we tried this place, from the humble outside appearance we honestly didn't expect much- how wrong we were. A family favorite of ours now, the service and food have been both amazing. We've always been greeted with a smile on entry. The red curry here is so delicious you want to drink it. Not sure if we were just lucky, but the muscles have also been very fresh. Make sure to order the roti as a starter and try the different soups they have. This place is definitely within the top of our go to list for family outings these days."
